    One more question:
Are the streaming services any better than us purchasing a ONE(1) time price of $299 for an Nvidia Shield TV Pro??
    Thanks

    S.
    Super video
Ok, did not view the entire video, but just a few questions:

As of now we are paying $150 per month for satellite TV service.
But when I see streaming for $4.95 p/m, or $7.95 p/m. or even $25.95 p/m, they all are better than $150 per month!
#1-But I wonder if I get all the channels that we can get with satellite!!?
#2- Do the streaming services have to come to your home and install equipment??
#3- Must I always have an internet service??
#4-Can I use more than ONE (1) service at the same time, or am I limited to just one??
#5- The $4.95 p/m, is that for ALL the TVs in your home, or is it $4.95 foe each TV?? If it’s for each TV, we have 4 in our home so that would be $4.95 X 4 p/m, which is still better than $150 p/m for All 4 TVs!
    A little help
    Thanks

  12. Faye Polk on July 13, 2021 at 3:36 am

Do any of these streaming services have the cable news channels?

  13. dathyr1 on July 13, 2021 at 3:39 am

Yes Streaming is better than cable pricing, but it can also get expensive with all the extras not mentioned and Steaming costs seem to keep going up in pricing. I am trying Sling and you can read below what I did. I wanted something more than just local channels with an Antenna. Note: each streaming service is missing something tyou were used to on cable TV. No one Streaming service has everything and things you want you pay extra beyond the base pricing.

I broke away from cable TV and i have Sling both Orange and Blue, their DVR, and one extra TV package. Total for Sling is 64 dollars. Plus with my cable internet at 74 dollars – makes the streaming TV coast of around 135 dollars per month. it is better than the 267 dollars I was spending for both internet and TV with cable provider Sling seems to add the missing channels I dont get with my Antenna- read below..

I stilll have a canle billl but it is only for internet. I kept my current internet only because of so many places have my email address and didnt want to put in the effort of changing them over to a new one. Most internet packages are about the same once you are off of their INTRO pricing. i do not have the fastest internet speeds so it keeps the cost down and works fine for Streaming. I went with the cable providers modem/Wifi box in case of a purchased box could go defective, provider provides free modem replacements.. Its up to you if you want to get your own modem/WIFI boxes.

I will say though the more you spend on streaming extras, the closer you get back to cable TV costs. Plus rates for these streaming venues keep going up in price each year. i can see right now – Pretty soon Streaming TV will be just as expensive as cable if you want to get the same thing you had on calbe TV.

I did also get a pretty good indoor antenna for the local channels here in the mid-west. I get about 40 some odd local channels-all digital .Quality is very good. For some reason I dont get CBS with the Antenna.

Two added free streaming services I have is PLUTO and XUMO which gives me added TV and movies to watch. Sports seem to be older recorded events with these two.

Si i will see how it goes in the months to follow. What is nice about streaming there are no set contracts at this time and can cancel services and jump to another Streaming sevice at anytime.

    take care

What about being able to watch local sports like nfl games. I already have cable just looking for live channels

  19. Chas chas on July 13, 2021 at 3:48 am

I had Youtube tv, and really liked it, but they dropped the RSN’s so I switched to Hulu. Then Hulu dropped theRSN’s, so now I’ve switched to AT&T tv. Great picture quality and very easy to use. I highly recommend AT&T TV.

  20. Ameer Ali on July 13, 2021 at 3:49 am

I have ATT right now and hate it. its buggy and seems like since I got it (when it launched beta) they have had many price hikes – was $45 and now about $85.

  21. Mark Boggess on July 13, 2021 at 3:49 am

Sling sucks. Can’t even sign up

  24. Darren Robinson on July 13, 2021 at 4:01 am

Great video. Most, if not all of them have a trial. I think the best way to see which is best is to try each for a week.

  25. morris elizabeth on July 13, 2021 at 4:02 am

Sling sucks for me because…no locals! I don’t watch sports soooo….I have $20 Philo, $5 Locast $1.99 Hulu, Free Peacock Premium, Free Discovery + with my phone service. All for under $30/month. Had every streaming service out there…my combo is bomb 💣 for me!

  26. Mike Merrifield on July 13, 2021 at 4:03 am

I have AT&T TV and you get 500GB DVR. I do not pay extra and can skip through recorded shows. I get 3 streams at a time at no extra cost. Please do an update with the correct information

  27. Arhumed Santana on July 13, 2021 at 4:04 am

I just want to be able to watch the most out of the wrestling promotions out there; AEW, WWE, MLW, Mexican, etc. Which streaming service (package) is best for the wrestling fan?

  28. Eno Beano on July 13, 2021 at 4:12 am

I’m going to save money by using my antenna. I spent decades paying cable. Haven’t gotten a bill in four years. Loving it!

  29. Israel Escudero on July 13, 2021 at 4:13 am

At the beginning ATTtv now former Directv Now was all good for the price, now it went up so much, they pushing the old customers like me to move to their new tv packages , they increasing my tv service $10 more. Guess changing to Fubo.tv now
