   Not one of the, "10 Best Amplifiers" in this horrible list, is a "real", "Dyed in the wool"- (Dedicated Amplification Component). NOT ONE! Even the "McIntosh" listed is an "Integrated" stereo (system). It is NOT what any audiophile I have ever met would ever call, "An Amp". And that is what the "Name" of this list states that it is here to list!
   "McIntosh Laboratories" and, "Cambridge Audio" are the ONLY brands listed here that currently manufacture ANY, "Audiophile Grade" components. But the MA1200 isn’t one of them! "NO (integrated) components should be anywhere even near this type of (list)"!
   And not even a mention of ANY amplification designed by, (Nelson Pass)?! And just in case you do not know>>> He is,-"The engineer, inventor and mentor, "Whom Is" very widely understood to be the undisputed, (Father) of and too, (nearly ALL), contemporary, "High Fidelity", amplification designs considered, "High Fidelity" since the mid, "1970’s"!?!? Responsible for both the, modern circuit designs AND mechanical archetectures of most, if not all, "solid state (S.S.)", as well as, (Tube) amps currently made anywhere on the planet!
   (And for just a couple of examples; The "Nakamichi Pa-7", "Stasis" amp. And also Denon’s "POA-6600" amps are "Nelson Pass" designs. And those amps, "Made" those companies back in the day)! And I still use, (two) of the old, "Threshold" amps from the late 70’s that he built. They are amazing! Even at over 40 years old!
   But having a list not qualified as, "Budget HiFi, Integrated amps under $1000" and just as "2021’s BEST amps"? And then also, "NOT" having any "Pass Lab’s" or "First Watt" amps on the list??? That is just wrong! Do a little research. And you will see what I am talking about. And then- What about, "Linear Tube Audio" and that companies (ZOTL) amps?
   Like I said, Not ONE of this lists, "Best Amps" are the best amps by a longshot!

    My Audiolab 8000A amplifier still survives, with just two cold-solder repairs in 25 years. It’s worth to note its perfect 1Khz square-wave response that I measured on an oscilloscope. In one word, an ideal amplifier.

    I’m sure all these are pretty good units…for the price. They are only mid-priced units however. If you are really looking for "The Best" (as the title suggests) I can’t see how you could ignore the really high end stuff from British manufacturers like Linn Products and Naim Audio. If you have deep enough pockets Amplifiers (and other items like the legendary Linn LP12 turntable) from these manufacturers, even at their entry level will blow any of these completely out of the water for sheer quality and musicality.

    Recently purchased the Rotel RB-1582 MK11 power amplifier Class AB 200 watts/channel continuous, Beautiful slightly warm sound. Paired wit a Audio L ab preamplifier (no tone controlsd or balance control) made in England. I have yet to hear something better
