Best 8inch Tablet Under $150 – Samsung Tab A 8 2019 Vs Lenovo Tab M8 Full HD

Best 8inch Tablet Under $150 – Samsung Tab A 8 2019 Vs Lenovo Tab M8 Full HD

Which is the best bang for the buck 8inch tablet in 2020. I just wanted to do a quick video on which is a better 8-inch tab. The quick answer, the Lenovo. If you want a little more detail, please check out this video.

Samsung Tab A 8 2019: Costco Price $100 after $50 off and Free 32GB micro sd card
(Original Price $150)
Lenovo Tab M8 Full HD: Lenovo original site $98 after Black Friday discount.
( Original Price $140)

After using over a week, the Samsung is unusable, felt like using an android tablet from 2016, understand that the price is low, but at least the Lenovo provided a better casual using experience. Samsung came out with a new 8inch with S Pen has a similar spec to Lenovo, both 3GB ram, same screen resolution, Bluetooth 5, but priced at $250, so I rather just keep the Lenovo and save $100 for a similar performance.

As good as Samsung is, it’s bloated with redundant apps. Far too much proprietary unnecessary stuff. I’ve used an 8in & a 10in for 6 months. Using 8in now for this! Love the size but not the bloat. And the 10in with that Bixby garbage. Atrocious. I got rid of it & I’m shopping for a new up to date 8in. Thanks for this video.

Hi, great review! Thanks for doing it. Since I’m interested in buying a cheap tablet, I’ll use it mainly in the car with Waze and Spotify I will use my phone for hotspot. I want to ask you if these 2 models have built in gps chip. I just returned an Amazon fire 8 because it doesn’t have gps and they are quite vague about it.

    I love the Lenovo

  12. Luke W on June 19, 2021 at 1:28 am

You are exaggerating the speed difference between the 2 tablets. Also, many people will get confused and buy the Lenovo M8 HD and think that they are getting better performance than the Samsung.

The lenovo tab m8 is low at gaming but still usefull.. and the Samsung is guaranteed a Good Gaming Device For Fps Games

    HELLO
it works the lenovo for the DJI mini 2 in usb I thought we needed usb c for the new 1.4.0 application

    Thank you for your reply

the samsung has sim card support tho. and thats a big plus for me. 0.2 second faster to open an app is really irrelevant when youve already opened the app and using it. unless youre switching between apps regularly, then get on a pc.

    Lenovo is better

  22. Dolan on June 19, 2021 at 1:41 am

Imo the biggest Samsung devices adventage is the samsung cloud and OneDrive sync. This is what i am paying for. Also samsung will most likely get more software and security updates than Lenovo. Tab A 8.0 will get the Android 11 in the upcoming months. I am planning of buying this cheapest Samsung tablet only for using YouTube Vanced. And i have one question, does that animation when you minimize or maximize youtube video (i mean when you are watching video and you click that small arrow in the upper left part of the screen) lag on this tablet? How YouTube works overall? And also, in developer options, how much RAM is free with only system necessary apps running?

  23. Alex M. on June 19, 2021 at 1:44 am

The Tb A8 can reproduce HD contents from Netflix, while the Tab M8 can’t..

  24. Stian Jorge Jarnæss on June 19, 2021 at 1:47 am

Lenovo is fantastic value🙏👋. I’m so sick of Samsung resting on their laurels. But no wonder, some people buy just because it’s Samsung.

  25. Anushka Yadav on June 19, 2021 at 1:49 am

Which one is good for note taking??
And is the both tablets size is same??

My Galaxy A8 2019 didn’t come with a micro sd card.

  27. Gracy Rani on June 19, 2021 at 1:51 am

The lenovo tab m8 fhd looks a bit yellowish when compared to the Samsung right? Also how is it’s gaming performance?

thanks for the video my friend. I was in between then looking to go with Samsung because I couldn’t trust Lenovo, but you changed my mind. I am ordering Lenovo! 89 dollars!

  32. Santiago Del Bono on June 19, 2021 at 2:08 am

Unfortunately Lenovo does not support resolutions over SD with Netflix, a huge dealbraker for a lot people.

    Thanks bro for nice review

  34. Good Soul on June 19, 2021 at 2:08 am

    Lenovo screen is superior.

  35. Ned Martin on June 19, 2021 at 2:11 am

You are correct…the touchscreen on the Samsung is terrible.
I bought both the Lenovo M8 FHD and the Samsung Tab A 8.0
    Pros and cons for each.
I ended up keeping the Samsung despite it’s flaws, it is overall a better tablet than the Lenovo IMO.

    I miss my Nexus 2013 2nd gen.
Beat the crap out of both of these clunkers.

  36. Bill Strack on June 19, 2021 at 2:13 am

Excellent video. Very informative. You probably have saved me a few buck. Looks like the Lenovo M8 may replace my old Nexus 7 that is about to die.Thank you for the info.

I have the Lenovo tabm8hd. It ran adroid 9 and updated to android 10 and screwed up the tablet. The widgets have to be updated thru the apps and my app notifications and sounds quit although they’re all set to on. There are complaints registered to Lenovo and so far they have not done anything to fix the problem.
