Are 4 Inch Phones Still Relevant?
Are 4 Inch Phones Still Relevant?
For anyone reading this, I’m extremely sorry for the way this video came out. My PC is getting worse and worse by the day as Windows 10 just hates me. I was planning background music and super crispy A-Roll.
Half of my B-roll was unusable due to Premiere not wanting to import it and my audio had horrible background noise. Let’s make the next video better!

the bigger your phone, the more addicted you get to it. time to get a life not a big phone
Its still
I miss the old smaller screens.. 4" is the perfect size, i can use it well, my thumbs can touch anywhere in the screen, and it actually fits in the pocket! And it stays "hidden" in the pocket.
These newer bigger phones are huge and they are very visible in a pocket, my g5 for example loooks like a huge wallet…
Ps: i have big hands, but i dont have too much throuble in writting in 4 inch screens using google’s keyboard, samsung one really sucks tho.
Does any remember the galaxy fame? That was crap from day one.
Nope.
Even a 5.5-inch phone feels like a midget device in my hand and I do not really have larger hands.
5.7" is the minimum I would consider. My current phone is that size and I had a 6" before it and mistakenly chose this one but it is the ideal size. moving to a 6.7 or 6.9" by the end of the month.
Changed my s6 for 5s😏
I now have a 6.0 inch phone…..
I want a 4 inch smartphone, 4000 mAh battery, root acces clean ROM,no iphone brand, under 200 usd.
iPhone 5s 64gb 😊😊😊😊😘😘😘😘😍😍😍4inch😘😘😍😍🥰🥰
Big phones are fun to use.I am fond of big phones.
Watching this on my iPhone 5S. I find it the best size for me. If only it has the 4000mAh battery it would be perrrfect
I miss the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Mini Pro and the Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini. Probably I’ll buy an iPhone SE this year. It’s shame that the best 4" android phone is the crappy Samsung Galaxy J1.
Samsung Galaxy Trend Lite Best Phone
5.5 inch or nothing.
Swype is a dream to use on the iPhone SE.
yes we want small phones…..
4 inch phone is bad ass.
4 inch phone too small
4 inch without bezel would be ultimate
3.5 inches – 6 inches = phone
7 inches to 13 inches = Tablet
13 inches to 18 inches = Labtop
18 inches + get a monitor/Smart tv Simple
Yeah phone companies are making giant phones that are pointless. I want new tech in a new 4" beast! They have the means to make it happen but they think bigger is better. They will down size soon I hope.
I got an s8 plus for because someone sold it to me for $100 but it was too big for me so I got an iPhone 7 and it was ok but it was buggy and instead of getting a different one I went ahead and got me an SE because I wanted something more portable considering my job requires a lot of movement. Plus I’ve got pretty small hands but honestly I think it’s just what I need. I mean I’ve always been more of an android fan but there aren’t really any good phones that are small enough for my liking.
3.5 inch phones
Those 4inchers could fit 5 inch in that body
I’m never leaving my iPhone SE unless another 4 inch phone get released with good performance for me it’s the most comfortable phone to my hand
I’ve owned the SE, 6s, 8, 8+, XR, I owned the XR for 9 days then I said “F@$& it we’ll do it live,” returned the Xr. Picked up an iPad mini and pulled out the old se got the battery replaced and bought 2 battery cases for the se now my phone can run all day and I just swap out cases it’s been the most liberating phone for learning. I go through 70gb a month looking forward to apples 2020 version of this little guy.
Smol mobile best in pokit you’d
Yes. It’s called a phone. Not TV. Tired of these big heavy phones.
better say 4.5.. moderate size for hand..
Unihertz Atom L, fastest 4 inch phone today, also it is rugged and packed with 4300 mah battery, but it is thick …
I recently upgraded to a 5.7inch phone from a 4.5 inch phone. It feels like a downgrade. Why do they only make giant phones and 3 inch phones now?
Back then 4 inches were perfect. Now Im fucked.
The reason why you cant type is because you are using both hands which is a no go @ 4 inches.
in my opinion, we dont need large screen for music player.so its still relevan.
Keyboard gripe. Voice type. Done.
Bluetooth keyboard…
Why not
I could type on my Xperia Z3 Compact using two thumbs with lesser mistakes than with any other bigger phones. Xperia Z3 compact is 4.7 inch. Your logic that smaller space for keyboard means unusable keyboard is just plain false. Tell your stupid logic to Apple who has sold iPhone SE like a rockstar, and iPhone SE continues to sell like hot cakes even today.
galaxy note 5 5.7inch
Here for craving 2019 newest 4.5 inch smartphone with ultra high ppi
4" is the best & compact.
I miss my old iPhone 5s. The 6s Plus is too big for me, this behemoth was not meant for one-handed use at all. Or pockets either.
Actually they have not increased at all. Mind you the IPhone 8 is still the standard model of Iphone as of its release in 2017 considering the IPhone X is the premium model. It still has a screen size the same as that of the IPhone 6 in 2014. You showed the IPhone 7 Plus which is Apple’s current 5.5 inch big phone standard, and as of the X they seriously need a return to both the 4.7 inch and even 4 inch size ( from what I understand, it would make sense for Apple to market a 4 inch iPhone as a super tool, as a true phone without heels and whistles for a price other markets can’t win at. Their market is open to be destroyed by a person smart enough to realize that 4 standards are needed in modern society: the smart watch, a 4-5 inch class smartphone small enough to be inside of most pocket, a gaming device in the 6-9 inch screen class which can be handheld and will run most games.
Bigger still is a 10-15 inch large tablet not used for running games, but to replace the laptop on the move with a keyboard and to connect to a much bigger still 18-25 inch PC monitor.
I want a small phone fit my pocket and easy to i mean no hastle
Easiest way to type on a small kbd is to turn the phone sideways😁 – typing this on a moto x 2013😎
I think 4.5" is perfect. Very compact and easy to store. Perfect for everyday use.
4 inch phones are still relevant!
And to me 4-4.7 inches is the sweet spot. I wouldn’t buy a phone below or above that range.
i use a 4 insh acer its cool
"Typing is hard"… ever heard of landscape mode?
I’m still using a 4 inch device.
The iPod touch 6G, and I have no problems with that size
