Decided the Tahoe needed an upgrade in the stereo department. For $46, I couldn’t resist trying out Amazon’s cheapest head unit. With bluetooth, phone mirroring (like apple carplay), and a backup camera, I think I made the right choice!

I think literally everyone wants to know if this cheap setup is still working. Its not expensive but it’s time consuming to replace it every 6 months.
this unit is a label stripped Blaupunkt Baltimore i *almost guarantee it..because i own the labeled version and the set up is identical but the blaupunkt video interface is more modern and doesnt come with a backup cam but is compatible with one..s
Is the connection to backing up Camara easy to install?

My radio came internally wired incorrectly. The backup camera was not being detected by the head unit when in reverse. I am currently waiting to see if I can get another one from amazon (china).😬 You get what you paid for I guess. Just spend a little more and improve your chances on getting something that works on arrival.

I can’t believe it… for a lark, I ordered one of these from Wish.com for about $32.00. I just got it today, and it looks exactly like yours! I’m stoked because you don’t seem to hate it and it has exactly the features I wanted (which happen to be the same as yours) and the sucker is simply cheap!
I’m guessing I’ll need some sort of install kit with a faceplate surround for my 2007 Saturn Vue, but I really am excited about the possibilities. Thanks so much for a terrific video, covering everything I wanted to know. You da Man!

Pretty sure for legal reasons, they can’t install video playback standard in cars

So he did a review of a cheap stereo and didn’t mention sound volume and quality? Isn’t that a BIG piece of evaluating car stereos? I bought a simple single-din Sony head with no CD (had Bluetooth and mp3 so that’s fine). It had excellent power and definitely finer sound quality than the stock deck in my Jeep and only cost $60. But if it sounded like garbage I would have returned it. Sound matters.
i bought a 7" color touch in screen radio and the sound fades in and out idk if they connected wrong or its the radio ???

I got one of these for my bad a** Chevy Silverado. Yeah it’s really nice. I don’t have the exact version you have but I have the About bit version that has Bluetooth version 5.0 which really increases the range you can go with your phone on this wow this is an incredible unit with a lot of capabilities I love the fact that you can change the wallpaper and you can go through the settings on this unit and change so many different things it is absolutely fantastic now I had they recommend those of you that have the GM vehicle to go ahead and get the correct wiring harness don’t save money and get the $13 harness make sure you get the 1 that has the built in Chime box that way you know that you’re gonna have all your Factory warnings such as Dora jar keys left in. It’s recommended that you go to Crutchfield and do a fit check it’s nice that I don’t have to cut any support brackets to fit this unit since it’s so nice and shallow.
Anyone know how the audio sounds? Have one but haven’t installed it yet, but I’m worried about the quality of the audio at high volume

Even if it only lasts for a couple of years, you’ll probably be able to buy another touchscreen head unit with even more features for the same money.
My car has 7 speakers, 6 basic ones and a stock oem subwoofer in the back right. Can this unit connect to all of them? The wiring diagram on amazon shows it only connecting to 4 speakers (front and back left and right). Thanks

Honestly seems better than the dual audio $100 DVD player I’ve installed twice there bluetooth is defective and just bearly works even out the box but I’m installing one of these soon
