Litteraly every Single Laptop in you List is unavailable or trippled in price since you Made it. The xs1 is 2500$ noe the lenovo x1 is 1600$. And its the same with every other Laptop. I hate that. Its litgeraly 5 year old Laptops that shoot up in proces to scam people

Love this video! I am currently still using a Dell Latitude E7240 with an i5 4300u from 2014 I bought in 2018 for 200. The laptop is super sturdy and fast enough for my usage, and shows no signs of failure except for the battery which I replaced a few weeks ago, now it’s back to 5-6 hour battery life :).

    Dave are u a BARB??💯💯💯💯💯

  9. RL on October 10, 2021 at 8:45 am

I’m still using a Mac Air 2013 7 years later. I’ll be buying the 2020 Air. Apple has a few issues but longevity isn’t one of them

  10. Sadhbh on October 10, 2021 at 8:47 am

The end is the best 🙂

  11. ImCosima on October 10, 2021 at 8:48 am

I wonder why modern laptops appear to have poorly built hinges. I have a 7 y/o Acer laptop (with a pentium processor) its still working fine (minus the battery). I also bought an Asus laptop on 2019 and in less than a year the hinge got broken and the hdd as well. But can’t deny, Acer laptops look ugly af 😂

  12. ExtremeAcorn324 on October 10, 2021 at 8:51 am

I just need a laptop that can run cad softwares like solid works and run simulations as well any recommendations?

  13. Lightfire 360 on October 10, 2021 at 8:51 am

I wanted to buy a Mcbook pro yesterday…. but the mcbook pro 15 inch costs 2500$ its not 700$. And the mcbook air costs 1500$ and its way to small. It has a 12 inch srceeb

  14. ShaneX on October 10, 2021 at 8:51 am

Yeah , this is the reason we like you .

  19. H on October 10, 2021 at 8:57 am

I had bad experience with acer… after using it for 3 years, it normally wont work. If you use it for 2 years, you know the battery will be trash.

  20. Danny H on October 10, 2021 at 8:57 am

what a pointless video this was may as well of been a tweet tbh

  21. Gogeethan Gumarathas on October 10, 2021 at 8:57 am

I love how these videos are natural, don’t seem scripted, and is like a convo with a friend. Big fan!

  22. windows 7 user on October 10, 2021 at 8:58 am

The Lenovo X series is probably the best bang for your buck in refurbished especially with that awesome keyboard which is great for typing essays and just all-around using the device, and the build quality is astonishing, it’s on par with Apple laptops in my opinion.

  23. nav. on October 10, 2021 at 8:59 am

I bought a brand new MacBook Pro in 2020 and mannn I wanna get the new M1 chip ones so badly, but it’s really not affordable considering I JUST bought one a year ago… the battery life and overheating just sucks. Idk if I should trade mine in and get one?

  24. Rayner Menezes on October 10, 2021 at 9:01 am

I have an aspire 3, it’s about a year old and the hinge has broken 2wice. Not covered in warranty btw.

  25. Zinedine Zethro on October 10, 2021 at 9:03 am

  26. Icy on October 10, 2021 at 9:03 am

i got the macbook air m1 for free at my school as my "work material"

  27. Unknown Unknown on October 10, 2021 at 9:04 am

Why dont you youtubers ask the manufacturers build something better?

Like you dave jarrod mathew hardware chunks and so many are there.

We want something thin and light with great processor, upgrades, battery life.
Not a chunky 2.8 kg laptop or 2500$ laptop.

Oh yeah who am i to say anything. I am such a random dude who watch the videos and comments down. I should have million subs then someone will give importance to my comments.

  28. nickolas416 on October 10, 2021 at 9:05 am

I really like macbooks but they are the worst for all finance and accounting majors.

  29. Edzo Awesome on October 10, 2021 at 9:06 am

  30. Cubed on October 10, 2021 at 9:07 am

  31. David Chen on October 10, 2021 at 9:07 am

  33. Evan Stock on October 10, 2021 at 9:07 am

  34. Ghost Walker on October 10, 2021 at 9:08 am

what a segue that end lmao i am convinced

  35. Flokanker on October 10, 2021 at 9:09 am

Got a "" used "" m1 MacBook air for 740 euros ( 870 us dollars ) which is a pretty good deal i guess , considering that brand new is 1100 euros
Used market is always a good way to purchase things, and you can find amazing deals
This MacBook had only like 22 cycles of battery usage tehe

  36. ItsBlue on October 10, 2021 at 9:10 am

I love the ending!!!!!Nearly lost my mind!!

  37. AdvancedGaming on October 10, 2021 at 9:11 am

  39. John Law on October 10, 2021 at 9:12 am

I saw a child arguing with her parents and sales where the parents and sales agreed on what she needed for school work (within parents budget) versus what she wanted for a status symbol (out of the parents budget)…the child was throwing a tantrum in the store, i don’t know what the outcome was because i got my stuff and left. if "status" is a subject in school…

  40. Abdul on October 10, 2021 at 9:16 am

why didn’t you upload this in april 2020

  41. ImCosima on October 10, 2021 at 9:17 am

    The end lmao

  44. Bourbon God on October 10, 2021 at 9:21 am

I really hope you don’t take this the wrong way, this is just critique. I initially disliked the video because it lacked a presentation (it was just you talking for 9 minutes, no boot speed, no specs, no opening and closing apps, no exact price, etc). I removed the dislike at the "chef’s kiss" joke, nice one mate.
I do not have the right to say what kind of content you should do, but i would really like in the future, if i ever stumble upon one of your videos again, to at least see a little specs sheet on the right hand side with: chip, time to boot, time to restart, if it’s lagging when you click on web browser, price. That’s it.
I wish you all the best.

  45. Dandi Alvayed on October 10, 2021 at 9:22 am

reparability and upgradability is a joke wkwk

  46. Protege D Pain on October 10, 2021 at 9:23 am

  47. 鐘樹根收皮 on October 10, 2021 at 9:25 am

but you really windows as a student. you never know what programme you will need, which might not be available on Mac. And M1 doesnt run windows right ? That’s a NO GO.

  48. James A on October 10, 2021 at 9:25 am

Can you get google docs on Apple though?

  49. Conor on October 10, 2021 at 9:25 am

I came here needing to find a laptop and I’ve ended up being sold on that Optimus prime instead ffs😂
