✏ Best Drawing Tablets For You + Draw With Me | XP-PEN Innovator16 Anniversary Edition Review
Hello!
Today we’re going to talking all the different tablets that I’ve used throughout art school to being a self-employed illustrator. XP-Pen very kindly sent me their Innovator16 anniversary edition drawing tablet to review so I thought it would be fun to compare it to the tablets I currently use for my professional work. If you have any more questions about tablets, feel free to ask them below! Lots of love, Apple Cheeks.

I was so close to getting an Innovator 16 but I opted for the XP-Pen Deco Pro, less cords and I want to look up at my monitor, not down, trying to fix my posture.
Tfs♡
XP-Pen= Wacom’s Competition (theyre also Japanese)
By the way…. is that a gerbil on the top left?
this is so helpful! thanks!! 💕✨
Never seen a video of yours before. This was informative and funny and chill. Thanks.
if you give that wacom intuos to me, i would gladly accept it… 😀
Researching for my 14yo aspiring artist daughter. Thanks for the intro. She has a MacBook so the Innovator 16 may be an option for her. Love how you did the stripes on the dress multiple times — I see the appeal! 👌🏼
can u share your brushes? 🥺
Theres cable to connect it in… follow the colour for connectable..it show on the tablet
your art style is so cute
wihtout wall adapter and only usb and hdmi, you’ll get only 50% brightness. It will show 100, but it will be actuially 50

You have my attention!
I dunno if i should get an ipad pro, air or innovator still lol
I really want to get this tablet cause I’ve wanted one since forever but it’s so expensive but my birthday is coming up…..
how tall are you?
I love it how I can’t afford these pen displays yet…
Innovator 16 still doing you good?
I got great marks in my exams, my mom said she would buy me a drawing tablet. I have no idea which one to buy. In your opinion which is the best one? (I’m using a mac A1466, which is the most suitable?
Just bought my first one 🙂 a xp pen artist pro 22 R 🙂
Hey I have a question, I have a StarG640S and I use it with my phone. I often plug and unplug the tablet to store it somewhere, so do you think that is bad for the tablet? Should I just keep the USB plug in and store it just like that…. I scared that if I keep doing that the USB hole(don’t know its name) would get too loose overtime…..
any carrying cases u prefer
i really, really want a drawing tablet but i feel bad bc i already have an ipad my parents got me with an apple pencil. they spent like 600$ on me and now i want something that could cost 100$-1000$. thats why i want something i can buy by myself but they all seem pretty weird for under 50$. so, can someone help me? i want a layout similar to a wacom intuos draw (which is 100$ for a used on amazon sadly), small, cheap, accessible with buttons (the wacom intuos draw has buttons at the top so easily reachable for me), and sturdy. thanks and have a good 24 hours
edit: im thinking about getting a xp-pen sometime, the layout is nice
if you want the same screen protector on your ipad, order a replacement in their website, and then cut it using an ipad screen template, then apply it! and there you go! 😀
Hey, I have this tablet and sometimes the pen point isn’t accurate to where I’m pointing on the screen. It’s sometimes off by a few centimeters. I usually have to restart my laptop, mess around with the PenTablet screen settings, and open my drawing software (Krita) again to fix the problem. Is my tablet bugged or is there a way to fix this?
I’m so glad I stumbled across this video omg thank you so much
I’ve heard that some tablets don’t work with the new macbook pros and I was so worried to buy one
Thank you so much!
“Big Ass Camera In The Back”
this was a very helpful review, thank you!
Chris evans faning i see
The extra plug makes the screen brighter! If you only use the computer power, it’s a bit more dim. Also I recommend no touch because having touch was annoying when I used the wacom companion haha
Hi, would totally appreciate your response on this one. So, ive been buying xp pen products lately and am very very keen on the pen pressure. I noticed that most of the xp pen products ive used esp compared to wacom ones has pen sensitivity issues where it doesnt register properly on very mild strokes.
One easy trick i use to determine if the pen pressure is bad is i just hold the pen to its back end and just drag it all over the screen surface without any real intended pressure and just let gravity make the nib touch the surface and do random lateral movements with it.
With that, i notice the strokes i do doesnt register to the canvas im drawing on, compared to wacom tablets. Question, do you experience that kind of dilemma on your innovator 16 tablet? Thank you
your art style is so cute!! and the whole vibe is so calming to watch. I could listen to your voice for hours!
how accurate are the colours compared to the ones on your laptop?
16:15 which tablet is this ?????????????????????????????????????????????????? someone can help me pls? thanks
13:04
what drawing tablet and software did you use?
I realy hope the Innovator is not a direct successor to the Artist tablets, because I really don’t like this new design. Thats why in the end I got me the Artist 15.6 Pro instead. And I love it. I hope they’ll release a 1440p version of the Artist 15.6 Pro, that would be awesome.
Do u still have ur xp pen innovator 16? how is it now?
Hey I have veikk A15 but my dad said he will give me any drawing tab so I think which one should I go for xp pen 16 or iPad becoz it’s difficult to purchase procreate for me I think so Please help becoz I can’t buy procreate atleast now but My laptop can’t support photoshop and I use sai and krita krita more becoz sai is not good and krita is free and so am confused please help🙏
I could watch you draw for hours
Oof i only draw on phone and i have a huge hand so rip me
the other usb (red one) is meant to be used with the wall plug adapter, so it gives proper energy, if you only connect it to the pc it will work but the brigthness gonna be reduced quite a lot
Is that only for drawing?
so you can’t use procreate in the xp pen?
Hi
this guy in the link down faced a problem with the pen drawing …he said the "pen tilt" is not good ..have you faced the same problem?

Between XP-Pen Innovator 16 and XP-Pen Artist 15.6 Pro, which one is better than the other ?
I had a Bamboo Fun too. Hand crampy really. Best for quick notes and signatures more than drawing probably. (Still have it in put away in a box after upgrading)
After that was a 1060 Ugee and now my main is XP-Pen 15.6 Pro.
Getting this soon myself! And the second USB I believe is for more power, with just one in it won’t get quite as bright!
13:33 That was a pretty dark… joke…
Dang.
now i only need money hahaha
Artstudio pro is a good program between ps and procreate
I don’t know anything about the drawing tablets but I think the other usb is prob for charging the tablet(if it works on battery) or for power when you don’t want it to use your laptop/desktop’s power while using it.
