Wow, there are actually a few games on this list I’ve never heard of. That’s pretty rare.
I can’t believe Subnautica didn’t make this list. In my opinion, Subnautica is by far the most immersive and best survival game out there, and the addition of endgame content, a goal to work toward and the "Precursor" alien technology you have to discover and figure out is just brilliant and makes for years worth of entertainment.

I want an open world survival game single player multiplayer that dosnt involve zombies or dinosaurs and skyrim style bodys. Also not to soly be on online.
Right now you got stranded deep, subnautica , and ill throw in the forest. But the forest requiers ps4/pc only. Its not really zombies its mutants. Idk i give it a hard pass.
Id love to see a survival game on an a diffrent world or worlds and you have to find the corect code to home. Have a variaty of creatures that come in the night and also under water habitats. I dont think we will ever see that. And no no mans skys dosnt count. Even though its awsome.

Out of all of these, if your looking for something that’s fun and you might be tired of Minecraft, I really recommend the long dark. It’s a fun mission survival game that you have to sometimes be pushed to do things. Very fun game
