Like the sauce pan and wondered if we could have the references as the link is not related to the product. Thanks a lot for the tips.

Are the links put seriously for our help ? The link to vitamix is for A2500 but what shown in your video is A3500. Do I still believe the links to other products are correct? πŸ€ͺ

What, no silpats? I’m working on a tutorial (hopefully a chapter in my work in progress, a book on how to cook anything without a kitchen) showing folks how to replace kitchen roll, parchment, Al foil, cling film, plastic bags and other single-use, hard to truly recycle kitchen mainstays with sustainable multi-use/multi-functional items and silpats top the list followed by other silicon utensils and molds. Bought a four pack of silpats, 2 toaster oven sized, 2 full baking tray size last year and 2 silicon muffin moulds. I have not once used foil, parchment, pan spray, cupcake/muffin liners since that time, even though I am baking more than ever! I haven’t had to grease/flour sheet pans, use less oil for roasting veg and nothing sticks so clean-up is a whizz, saving precious resources like my time, water etc. Not ragging on you my baby, but I been sheltered in place since Feb., and I have seen how the current lack of choice and convenience in every aspect of daily life has other folks finally starting to grasp the need to connect the dots and REDUCE/ReUse/RePurpose/ReThink. I’m seeing a lot of personal epiphanies and a huge rise in creativity and innovation out there and those are the generative powers of change. If you are an ethical vegan, all species are equally worthy as are all the gifts of the earth, and therefore should be considered precious resources and not squandered. I can’t not eat fish and ignore polluting the ocean.

Hey Gaz! Have a question how do you feel about ceramic blades? I have 2 or 3 and love them. Is there anything i really need a conventional knife for?

  16. Josephine Winter on August 12, 2021 at 10:08 pm

i spent about Β£10 and a special trip fifty miles to the nearest big town to get my chopping board, but several years later i’m still using it nearly every day – it’s just a standard beech biggest size chopping board

You need to try making vegan Momos they are amazing! Im Indian and we have many different forms of momos all around but my favorite is the veg tandoori momos!
There are more like the normal steamed and fried momos. I really want you to try them all and not to forget the sauce that we eat it with.

How much power does a blender need to be considered powerful?

  37. Khay Bee on August 12, 2021 at 10:38 pm

Can you do a video on multi-purpose kitchen equipment that can be used for more than one thing. Im not sure if im explaining well. Basically im moving and noticed that I have so many kitchen appliances that I probably could have avoided buying. For instance I had both a high speed blender and a food processor. When I probably could have just stuck with a nice blender and used it as a food processor as well.

  38. Victoria Greenhalgh on August 12, 2021 at 10:44 pm

Love those copper pans – what a great find! I need to be going to better markets it seems haha!

That was almost a kitchen tour! My husband is a mechanic and refers to my kitchen utensils as tools. It’s cute but also true, some jobs simply require more tools. I wish I could have a minimalist kitchen LMAO
