For those in the UK looking for a GPU (inc. founders editions, or other gaming items like PS5), I am running a FREE stock alerter to give back to the gaming community 🙂
    https://discord.gg/suFcnvjrcj

Scalping etc is NOT supported on the server and is purely meant for gamers/enthusiasts !
Feel free to join and hopefully I can help you get the gear you’re looking for !

the gt1030 costs as much as an APU like the 3200g, it’s more cost-effective to get an APU and then a GPU later or just wait until prices drop even more to be able to get one for a good price.

In my country there are people who are selling their used 1060 3gb and many other lower end gpus in the initial MSRP when it was released and saying that this is because of silicon shortage…wtf 😠

I built my pc in Jan of 202. I bought a RTX3060ti, It was 4.4k Hong Kong dollar. Last month my friend also wanted to build a pc, so we went to the place where i bought my parts from. The same 3060ti was selling for 8k HKD……..i almost had a heart attack seeing that XDDD. But somehow 3070 was 1k HKD lower than the 3060ti, so ofc she decided to get 3070.

It is possible if you don’t have that disease where you have to have more than you really need. You can still get a CPU, MB, RAM for cheap if you are willing to go with older hardware. You are looking at probably $200, not including the GPU or peripherals on eBay for a 4th gen i5 or i7. It would seem that 1050ti and R9 380 cards are trending at around $200 on eBay. So for $400, you could have a 1080p 60fps console killer that performs about like an Xbox Series S. In most cases, DDR3 will score just as high as DDR4 at 2933 MHz. Your drives will be just as fast and NVMe is supported. There will be no appreciable reduction in performance on most GPUs. 4th gen supports USB 3.0. I have tried a 1650 with a wide variety of setups and it will run just as well on 4th gen intel i5 as with a Ryzen 3 3200G.
I have a budget 1650 rig on eBay right now and it isn’t selling. So I don’t think there is any problem with availability of gaming PCs. People aren’t buying them even if they want them because everyone on YouTube has spent the past year telling people not to buy "overpriced" hardware. This will do nothing to correct market conditions. What people need to do is stop wanting the latest and greatest all the time because that too is driving the market conditions. The shortage was precipitated by overuse of resources to produce too many new products too often.
People need to wise up to the fact that $150 Ryzen 5 CPUs are never coming back. $170 1650s are never coming back. They can’t. It is unsustainable. Be grateful the price of other components hasn’t skyrocketed.

Do you think it can run gta? Please help I want to know before

  29. Shirobusta on August 7, 2021 at 9:59 pm

Got a 2nd hand 1070 ti. Paired with my brand new i5-11400f. So far I’m satisfied. Paid $369 for the 1070ti. But a gpu is a gpu. From gt 730 to 1070 ti. I liked it. I could’ve save up for an rtx but I don’t see myself playing games with dlss or even rtx on. I mean I saw online an rtx 2060 selling for $473 and rtx 2060s for $517. It was tempting but I decided to let go anyways.

Theres no such thing as a budget pc anymore, its either a 3060 for $800 or a prebuilt with a 3060 that cost $1200.

  31. Daniel Sutorius on August 7, 2021 at 9:59 pm

Depending on the situation with the gpus I might or not build a gaming pc by November (birthday) if nothing change then I will buy a gaming laptop.
