I never get the purpose of subscription gaming. Please just buy the game. What’s the point of buying a game temporarily when you can own it play and when u get tired of it ,if you do, you can sell it if you want or put on the shelf till u feel like replaying it. As someone who is building a collection I just think that subscription gaming is the most pointless method of gaming personally.
@gameranx Could you do a video comparing PSNow and PS+? I have both and it feels like a loss. All the games that are free on PS+ Seem to be on PSNow. So, like are both worth it?

Funny story, I thought a ps now 25 dollars was a 25 dollar PlayStation store gift card… and now I won’t be able to buy the game I wanted
I have a pantheon of games to finish first, I’ll get the ps now when I’m done with my backlog
PS Now is less expensive as games won’t need a separate PS Plus sub to play online

I personally don’t like subscribing to things like PS Now because I feel like it puts me in a box where I can only play whatever I’m renting or I’m not getting my money’s worth. Joke being able to play the games I actually own at will.

No doubt it works great. I remember playing OnLive for months with my buddy years ago and honestly, even on WiFi in 2012, it worked well.

To me, it’s frustrating that Gameranx is so negative about Stadia.
In this video you mention that PS Now is more expensive than Stadia, that it works around as well (in your opinion), but it’s lower quality and has less features and integration than Stadia.
And yet this review was overall very positive, whereas your videos about Stadia are overall pretty negative.
And it’s especially funny when you consider the things you liked most about the PS Now service: being able to download games, and the nostalgia you had for specific titles.
It’s a game STREAMING platform. I don’t have a playstation. I couldn’t download the games even if I wanted to. And I have no nostalgia for the titles you mentioned. I want to know how the streaming aspect compares to other streaming services.
Just going off of the tone of the videos, one might assume that PlayStation Now is a better streaming service for them, when it really might not be.
I hope you can find a staffer that actually understands and appreciates the use case for streaming games. Your videos really suffer from having an incomplete and biased view about them.
Me personally, I would rather go play these titles on my ps3.
TOP TIP: Everytime i feel like playing something on PSNOW…i create a new ps user account and you get a free 7 day trial everytime. obvs not good for longer games that you want to play through but perfect for loads of titles if you have a week off work or something 😁

I feel like ps now and gamepass are great for people who may have spent their last to get a console. At least they are able to play games until they get more money to buy newer titles

My PS now subscription is ending near 2023 now. Love the product been using it since 2020.
If you’re a trophy hunter OH BOY that’s an awesome deal. I only buy it when it’s on sale so I don’t spend that much.
I have PS now and GB internet. Even with 1000 mb up and down some of the older games like Killzone have a hard time. My game was filled with bugs and massive delays. The library of games isn’t terrible but not enough new games like XB game pass
