    In third world countries consoles cost 10x more, due to import taxes, because the corrupt governments πŸ‡ the population to oblivion with abusive taxes. People there only now can afford a xbox 360

    Lol you must be a platform gamer. And the 90s had some of the best games lol πŸ€£πŸ˜‚πŸ€£πŸ˜‚ I take it you didn’t grow up in the 90s.

    Well, for starters, Redout is terrible. If people are fans if WipEout or F-Zero, then they probably won’t like Redout. The game sucks.

  12. LevelSmack.com on July 17, 2021 at 2:16 am

    Great list. I haven’t played many of these.

  13. alpaca 999 on July 17, 2021 at 2:16 am

    I highly recommend pit people it’s the only game on this list that I have played

  14. Ghettoforce on July 17, 2021 at 2:18 am

    Great video. The only thing missing, is a list in the description for easy reference afterwards. I’m certainly going to check some of these out.

    Any chance you could do a video on XBox One shmups ( physical if possible)? I’ve been thinking about picking up an Xbox for my collection. I know there were a whole bunch for the 360 but I’m not too sure on the Xbox. There aren’t many imports available for the system either correct?

    I would say "good Xbox One list" if not most of this "hidden Gems" are also on other (console) plattforms. Exept of some games, you can simple turn this video into a "Switch/PS4 hidden gem" list.
    Redout = PS4, Switch
    Rivals of Aether = Switch (ok, this was ported after this video)
    Ghost of a Tale = PS4 (Switch got an Release in October)
    River City Girls = PS4, Switch
    Flipping Death = PS4, Switch
    Arise: A simple Story = PS4, Switch
    Thimbleweed Park = PS4, Switch
    Axiom Verge = Wii U, PS4, PSVita, Switch
    Wuppo = PS4, Switch
    Splasher = PS4, Switch
    Monster Boy = PS4, Switch

    Thimbleweed park is Expennnsiivveeee af..

  20. Truer words have never been spoken, My Princess! on July 17, 2021 at 2:28 am

    So you claim that aether ripped off smash brothers just because it’s a fighting platformer. I guess every game is a cheap knock off of the first video game ever then? Accordion to your logic

  21. Ljubo K. on July 17, 2021 at 2:33 am

    Immortal : Unchained very good game and overlooked.
    Great video

  22. Mike Irving Pineda Villegas on July 17, 2021 at 2:35 am

    Good List, I also recommend:

    Fight N Rage
    Battle Princess Madelyn
    PatoBox
    Daymare 1998
    CrossCode
    Yokus Island Express
    What Remain of Edith Finch

  23. The Terrestrial on July 17, 2021 at 2:36 am

    It is also worth mentioning that Axium Verge was produced by a one man dev. Very impressive.

  24. James Holt on July 17, 2021 at 2:36 am

    Monster Boy is such a good game. It’s hard AF but its a lot of fun.

  25. kayfabe10 on July 17, 2021 at 2:38 am

    Ghost of a Tale VS. Moss! What mouse wins! But honestly, when I was on my physical copy of Sodesco game kick years ago, I came across Wuppo definitive edition for measly 9$ at Gamestop. Ended up being best value buy in looooong time. I too find it hard to believe how this flew under the radar!? Its quirkiness, charm, and underlying interactive world that at first glance seems simple. Big fan, Piku Niku year later on Switch vaguely reminded me of it.

    Man I think that phantom dust is my favorite game ever.

    That ending is awesome
