Is the Logitech Bluetooth Audio Receiver Any Good?

In this video, I look into the Logitech Audio Receiver and find out if it’s a good option to add to your home audio setup. Some integrated amplifiers do not come with Bluetooth, could this be the solution?

Can you plug this into a guitar amp.
And then connect to Bluetooth wireless ear buds?
Has anyone tried this or know if this is possible?

I purchased one for fun. Actually I was quite impressed after I started to use it. Works very well

Of course it’s good. I use it for about 2 or 3 years, hooked it up to my Akai AA8080 reciever via rca wire and it sounds really decent. One of my friends has Klipsch the Sixes with BT which supports aptx and complains it cuts highs, but he likes how this Logitech sounds.

For an audio guy sort of frustrating video considering your music and speaking volume are completely different

Tern of the trek, and all noise , your sound trek like if you 12 years old, are you dump? Apt-x—NO! bluetooth 5.0?—NO!

    So receiver is
Make your output device became a bluetooth output device
Example for phone to speakers using this receiver (speaker + receiver)

What about a pc with bluetooth headset?

    Kill the “music”

  12. Peter Powers on July 3, 2021 at 3:14 am

Why does it go from RCA to AUX? You can buy ones with AUX outputs if you are going to do that.

Hi, I have a JVC amp/receiver with a regular EU ac outlet (max 250v) in the back to power the CD player. Would it be possible to put the adapter of the logitech in there so it’s only powered when the amp is on? Or am I missing something here?

Is there any feed back with power line connected. I had bought a Tao Tronics 5.0 bluetooth transmitter reciever and when power line is connected there is a distinct buzzing noise. Only hold a 2 hour charge when disconnected. The sound then is clear.

  20. Dave Saunders on July 3, 2021 at 3:33 am

Good review, how do you find the output level in comparison with the other inputs? Is it similar to say a CD player or tuner level or is it much lower? Asking because if you change from bluetooth to other source you may find usual sources blast out in comparison and you have to fiddle with the volume too much as you switch inputs.

I just hooked this up and seems to work good. But after about hours use. It starts breaking up and eventually stops playing. On which I have to disconnect the BT and re boot ? Any ideas ? Also my cell is on WiFi and within 5 feet of the device

Have had one of these for years and used it on many older amps that I’ve owned. Recently dug it out the draw again as I bought a projector. Used it to send audio from the projector from a Firestick to my powered monitor speakers at front of room. Works perfectly without any lag. Good quality sound but most things sound good on my JBL 308 monitors. Connects as soon as I turn it on. Has definitely come in handy over the years. Sturdy build quality.

does it work with airpods ?
