Don’t buy the A2 unless you’re ok with port wind blowing in your face.

  2. Michael on June 28, 2021 at 1:44 am

Still recommending a separate dac it sounds so much better.
    Own at the moment
    Pioneer m90a to marantz hd-dac1
    With Sonus faber concerto speakers
    With Rel Stentor III subwoofer
    Notting outrages

    Love the Peachtree M25!

  7. Randolph Garcia on June 28, 2021 at 1:48 am

PS: IN MY OPINION, FOR ROOM SURROND SOUND, YOU CAN’T GO WRONG W/EITHER THE EDIFIER OR CREATIVE PEBBLE V-2/NEW V-3 SPEAKERS ARE THE WAY TO GO. CHECK YOUTUBE VIDEOS & THE ACTUAL WEBSITES FOR FUTURE INFORMATION & UPDATES. HAVE THEM PROFESSIONALLY INSTALLED IN MY VIEW.

  8. Ernie Chartier on June 28, 2021 at 1:51 am

Considering the amount of time I spend in front of my computer screen for work, good desktop speakers are super important. Thanks for the breakdown.

  9. bcarlo25 on June 28, 2021 at 1:51 am

The Fives are bad ass but for the normal person get the promedia 2.1’s. More than enough for a pc.

  10. Grand View Lodge on June 28, 2021 at 1:52 am

    Love those Klipsch Fives!

  11. Mike Pfeifer on June 28, 2021 at 1:53 am

    what about sound bars?

  14. fernando c on June 28, 2021 at 1:58 am

The fives arent comp speakers.. they can be used for comp.. but are for surround sound and serious living room system..

  15. Don Cohen on June 28, 2021 at 2:00 am

I hadn’t really given much thought to sound quality at my computer – after watching this, I may need to rethink that strategy. Thanks for a great review.

  16. Mike Hayes on June 28, 2021 at 2:00 am

I love good computer speakers!!! I added a sub and it really does make a difference.

  17. Stanny1 on June 28, 2021 at 2:01 am

Forgot the Monoprice MM-5R. But you can’t sell it. Got mine on sale for $299.

  18. Mark US on June 28, 2021 at 2:02 am

Add Jamo S 801 PM powered monitors to the list. The Jamo may even have more punch vs some of the ones mentioned

  19. Luis Guillen on June 28, 2021 at 2:02 am

Great comparison video, I really like those new Audioengine HD4’s!

  25. Daniel Sonderer on June 28, 2021 at 2:11 am

    Are you joking!??
300+ for a stereo Speaker but for your desktop?
What a bad choice. And sad there are good ones also from Klipsch for max230$

    So wtf?

  26. J Tee on June 28, 2021 at 2:11 am

Those Peachtree speakers have the hardest lookin’ soft domes tweeters I’ve ever seen.😁

  27. THE MAD TECHIE on June 28, 2021 at 2:14 am

This is the second review you said Audio Engine invented the computer speaker (stop reading their advertising points), they did not exist till 2005.. Sorry Cambridge Soundworks made good sounding dedicated speakers in 1988, heck even Klipsch and bose had pc speakers that were fairly good in 2000 when I sold them in retail.

  28. KISS and Makeup 74 on June 28, 2021 at 2:14 am

Great video. High quality computer speakers are a must to make my work day easier!

  29. Taylor Rasmus on June 28, 2021 at 2:14 am

I’ve been looking into redoing my home office space now that I’ve been working from home…this has been super helpful.

  30. Randolph Garcia on June 28, 2021 at 2:14 am

BRIEF UPDATE: I ALSO WANT TO MENTION THAT THE KANTO YU2 SPEAKERS ARE ALSO AN EXCELLENT CHOICE FOR EITHER YOUR LAPTOP/DESKTOP SPEAKERS & IT COMES W/A SUB WOOFER IF NEEDED. THE DESIGN IS CLEAN & MODERN LOOKING & AS SUCH, THE SOUND IS EXTREMELY STRONG. BOTTOM LINE: FOR YOUR HOME COMPUTER DESK SETUP, YOU CAN’T GO WRONG W/EITHER THE: KANTO YU-2; CREATIVE PEBBLE V-2 OR V-3; OR THE EDIFIER SPEAKERS. GOOD LUCK.

  31. DustInMyBum on June 28, 2021 at 2:15 am

Vanatoo transparent 0’s definitely deserve a spot on this list

  32. Snoopmasta on June 28, 2021 at 2:15 am

  33. Frances Pariz on June 28, 2021 at 2:18 am

Lots of great info, thank you!

  34. Heather McMillen on June 28, 2021 at 2:19 am

All of these are great options for a home office setup. Love the retro look of The Fives!

  35. behemothinferno on June 28, 2021 at 2:19 am

From experience, the best bang for buck you’ll get from speakers for computer use are nearfield studio monitors. And if they sound to neutral to you, make sure you get a model with DSP so you can tune the sound to your liking!

  36. angry pepe cancer on June 28, 2021 at 2:19 am

    I like your hair

  37. Guillaume Briand on June 28, 2021 at 2:22 am

Big Klipsch horn tweeters that sit 3 feets from you? Good bye midrange.

  38. Shane Johnson on June 28, 2021 at 2:22 am

Great video, thanks for the info!

  39. Piyath on June 28, 2021 at 2:22 am

Why not buy a decent set of 3"- 5" studio monitor? Mackie, JBL, Kali, Adam, Presonus, Yamaha, KRK etc…

  40. Tom Davis on June 28, 2021 at 2:25 am

I own the A2+ in gloss Red and the M25 in Bamboo. I pair each of them with inexpensive Polk subs and both of them sound excellent. I purchased the M25 from Audio Advice after owning the A2+ for a couple of years because I really wanted a bigger sounding speaker on my large desk. I really love the way they sound. And, they will get plenty loud!

  41. TheRealMatt X on June 28, 2021 at 2:25 am

    Logitech Z623 (Not 625)
By FAR best bang for your buck, disappointed it wasnt mentioned :/

(I dont own the 625, but its the same as the 623 except the amp was downgraded and ive heard it noticeably impacted the lows)

  42. Doug Sheppard on June 28, 2021 at 2:26 am

I was debating on getting some KEF LSX’s but now I want to check these out.

  43. Bassam Ahmed on June 28, 2021 at 2:28 am

  44. Eric Swenson on June 28, 2021 at 2:29 am

Great stuff! Sounds like the right time to upgrade from my 10 year old Bose computer speakers.

  45. Peter Cohen on June 28, 2021 at 2:32 am

  47. Nick Rich on June 28, 2021 at 2:34 am

  48. SIR_Pierre on June 28, 2021 at 2:38 am

  49. Geir Hammervik on June 28, 2021 at 2:39 am
