I have the B&W 25k Companion for a 2019 GMC Puck system. I love it. My GMC is 3500HD DRW. My fifth wheel was recently rear ended and my hitch held strong. The jolt to my truck and trailer was shocking and I thought for sure that my hitch was gonna be damaged as well as my trailer. I was lucky that the only damage was to the rear frame crossmember. I inspected my hitch base, pulled off the head unit, inspected the jaws and found no sign of damage. It has still works perfect. Having gone through this experience I will not by any other brand hitch.
From your recommendation, I just ordered the same model. Can’t wait to get don’t the road!!! Luckily it’s in stock from the place I ordered from.
How is your turning radius clearance. I have a 2021 duramax with the 6 3/4 bed. Debating between this hitch or the slider. Dont want the extra weight of slider if its not necessary
You were talking different puck arrangements in trucks. I had a 2019 high country 3500 and traded for the 2021 high country 3500. And guess what different puck system so had to get different 5th wheel. Went with Curt 25 again , like how it works
Good looking truck! I have a F350 SRW using an Anderson hitch and I think I want the companion for the Ford puck system. My issue is to make sure I have a good turning radius. The front of my camper stick out past my pin about 16". Really don’t want a slide hitch…. thoughts?

I am mostly concerned with clearance between the cab and the pin box and bed. Since you have the identical truck I do I would like your advice prior to purchasing the exact hitch you did. Thank you for taking the time to respond and please keep the great content coming.
I will be getting the same truck, I.e., Silverado 3500 HD High Country, so I will most likely get the same hitch. I will be towing the Jayco Northpoint, so I might need the 25K. Model, we will see. Thanks for the video…great information!
