Is this the same for the PS4 pro? I plan on picking it up in a few days and I’m not sure if it’s software is different than the originals. Would it be exactly the same format as the slim or release?

I’m hoping that I will be able to play red dead redemption 2 offline. I have NEVER had problems playing offline or liked the idea of online only gaming, it’s pure daylight robbery.( There are plenty of games out there to purchase with a great story mode) THE LAST OF US REMASTERED DyingLight, GTA V, Batman Arkham Knight, Resident Evil ect but getting a Internet connection just specifically for enjoying your games is Way too expensive. I haven’t played for months myself i tend to buy PlayStations then sell them when I get fed up, but I won’t ever do that again when I get my FIRST PS4 PRO with RED DEAD REDEMPTION 2 So yeah Until that shit gets cheaper FUCK PlayStation network.. it’s a total scam. I urge everyone unless you have a great job or have won the lottery.. Don’t play online multiplayer it’s ridiculous & people need to quit buying broken unpolished games, just stick to Rockstar, Naughtydog, Bethesda ect.. these developers know how it’s done.

I have PlayStation 4 system problem I have is I playing walking dead the collection in final frontier when it go part to it tell me I have to go PlayStation tm network play rest of game .I was playing offline like I do my other games Madden 18 last of us uncharted Nathan drake collection with no internet connection. Sony told me walking dead the collection need internet to play I told bull if that true how was I able play it off line .make sense anyone has any problem or do I have update playstation 4 I last updated it when I frist bought it.

I’m not sure what you are talking about concerning "The Last Of Us: Remastered". I played both games directly off the disc without internet. I was actually never planning on connecting my PS4 to the internet. Then "Fortnite: Battle Royale" came along & I had no choice but to connect to the internet if I wanted to play that game. Which of course I did. LOL

I’ve never had PS4 until yesterday, May 16, 2018. No, I did not need any internet connection to hook up or download " The Last of Us". I set language, central time, skipped the internet part. The game downloaded very fast, plays great. I can hit pause, and save the game whenever I want. The console told me, that internet is needed the first time I want to play a DVD movie, or Blu-ray, but after watching one movie, the internet would not be needed ever again to watch DVDs, just this one time, but I never hooked up my internet because I am not gonna watch DVDs in my PS4, so the answer is NO! You do not need any internet connection at all to set up, install, or play Single Player games on PS4. I love it.
