Thanks for the info, but allot of the Free things you mention are misleading such as Spotify. If I go to their webpage you get 2 free month trial and then pay 9 dollars a month for the service. Plus allot of these have some free stuff and then top demand programs-movies we like to watch – you have to pay a price for.
So even if myself breaks away from the CABLE network I am on, by the time you invest in all these different packages you are right back up to paying what you pay for a cable provider.
Am I missing something here? Nothing is completely free.

the roku channel is the best thing ive ever seen, has anime tx shows movie anime dubbed, and live tv all for free with no ads i barely use roku channel but its really good if u dont have money for netflix to watch naruto or hunter x hunter

I’m new to cord cutting in fact I haven’t started yet. It seems like you’re using the terms "channel" and "app" synonymously. (Newsy is introduced as a channel and then referred to as an app) To me a channel is broadcast stream that you tune in to and an app is a software program that runs on your device or computer. An app can display programming from a channel but it is not the channel itself. That’s how I understand it but I must be missing something. Can you clarify?

I watch Pluto Tv most of the time. It has on demand movies, tv series and news and opinion I like a lot!
Does it have local tv, for local news? I wondering if it’s worth to cut cable tv and only pay for the streaming that I like to watch.
When there are advertisement breaks every 10 minutes if not less, is it really free? Some of the same ads are played over and over every break as well.

I bought an indoor powered antennae because we cut the cord, and it works awesome, I have so so many channels that I’ve never seen before. I must be picking up a satellite signal, I’m not joking I’m serious. You should do an indoor powered antennae video.
How about Kanopy? Free movies, without commercials. You must have at least one library card to sign up. I have two different cards for two different systems. That gives me 18 views a month. Lots of great movies, some TV shows. You have 3 days to finish a viewing, once started. Lots of European and Asian movies. A few newer movies, mostly older films.
