The only reason why Apple changed the keyboard is because that’s what it takes when you have to address a class action lawsuit. Nintendo was up against the same thing, nothing changes until you hit them in the pocketbook but don’t think that Apple listened to his Fanbase they only listen to class action lawsuits
I’ve just upgraded from a 2015 13inch Macbook pro to this. I could have easily done with the new 2020 13 inch MBP but I just wanted a bigger computer. I love Macbooks!

just replaced a 2012 i7 Macbook Pro with a 2019 i7 Macbook Pro. so excite. eff 2020.
and now after wwdc I’m still waiting for the ARM models..is anyone knows when apple introducing the first 16 inch MacBook pro with ARM chipset ??
I love the Touch Bar and it’s very useful if you take the time to retrain yourself. Most people don’t use most features so I’m not surprised a majority of people aren’t motivated to break old habits to learn the usefulness of Touch Bar verses control keys.

The problem for me is the Touch Bar. I touched a key & disabled its self. I can get anything back that was there.

Is anyone else with a 16inch Macbook pro 2.3ghz, 32gig ram 4 TB SSD, AMD 8GB5600M HDM2, Catlina 10.15.6 having Charging issues?
When the Factory power supply is plugged in the battery icon next to the clock says NOT CHARGING. Also when the power supply isn’t pugging in the battery icon sometimes has a lighting bolt on it. I erased the 16inch with a net install at it still happens from time to time. I’ve also reset my SMC. My computer is 45 days old!! I’ve been on the phone with AppleCare and they haven’t resolved the issue. Am I the only one with this issue?
I love my fully spec’d MacBook Pro 16". Yes it does get hot, but honestly, I don’t use it on my lap. It’s on a stand. Speakers are outstanding and I came from a 15" 2015 MacBook Pro and it’s identical in size and thickness.
Just wondering how long the battery life will be if they put a m1 chip in it with the same battery capacity

Hey, everyone is talking about all the issues the MacBook has managed to solved. I would really like to know your views using this MacBook with the external monitors because there have been threads going on since a long time about how just connecting an external display leads to heating and FAN noise for the MacBook Pro and the graphics card pulls in very high watt even without performing any intensive tasks.
