   DO NOT BUY ANYTHING NETGEAR, unless you’re a computer person! Support is horrible and you will be on the phone for hours trying to understand someone who DOES NOT SPEAK ENGLISH!! Called 6 times couldn’t talk to anyone who spoke English without a thick accent!

   I had a TP-Link. I returned mine. I could never get it to work with my VPN. Tried contacting TP-Link. What a joke. If this is for your home, good luck trying to get help. You can’t get a live person. Nor a dead or semi-dead one for that matter. Your only option is to sort through thousands of pages of "Community Help". I gave up after several hours and processed a return for it. I figure if the company isn’t interested in the people that buy their stuff, then I’m not interested in sending them my money.

    Do you need to connect your phone or your Xbox to the extender with different WiFi name etc

    As the ethernet is 100Mbps, nothing from this unit including WiFi speed is more than 100Mbps. With the overhead including the electricity web, a reduction of 75% speed is expected. For 3-phase, the overhead will be very bad. But it is better than nothing
