The Xbox One is not synonymous with child friendliness. It’s had it’s fair share of Lego games and games that appeal to both adults and older children, but overall, the choices for young children and toddlers is very limited.
The Kinect is better for small children, which is why I am so excited about the possibilities of the Xbox One. With this in mind I wanted to look at the current ‘known’ games for children on the upcoming Xbox One.

‘The press have suggested that the Lego Movie Videogame’s graphics are not up to par with the rest of the lego games’ – What?!?! It’s the only one that actually has the world being made out of lego. It looks infinitely better than the other lego games. What sort of madness is this?

My uncle wants to upgrade to the xbox one. We play halo and nba but he has a 7 year old daughter who likes xbox but she isnt the biggest fan of halo. So we are looking for games that dont have guns and killing etc

Disney’s Brave for the 360, which was a Kinect game, was a game my niece and I really enjoyed… I passed on it several times because it was a Kinect game, and thought it was just gonna be some sort of shovelware gimmick game, but boy was I wrong… The game plays great without Kinect, probably better than it would using it… lol… The game features a "beginners" difficulty level that worked perfectly for my 4 year old niece… Proud of that little one, already mastering the intricacies of 3D action/platformers… 🙂
Oh yeah, the game is also Xbox One backwards compatible… ✌❤️
