One of few tech related youtuber that stands out in a very very good way. Most of the famous tech youtubers either more or less read out the spec sheet or give very subjective opinion that doesn’t help in decision making. They sometimes just stupidly show benchmark scores, camera samples without actually technically knowing what they do, how to compare and don’t even give something to compare it to. This genre of content creation is so saturated with shit. Dave is like a ray of hope.

  12. Train Me Please on January 10, 2021 at 1:32 am

The G14 that is in your sponsored Link is different to the unit you reviewed a few months ago. The one here has the 1650Ti and 12 Gb RAM and the other one had a 1660 Ti and 16 Gb RAM, I think. Is it still a massive recommendation from you in this configuration?

  13. Pranav AK on January 10, 2021 at 1:33 am

67?….well, mission failed boys we’ll get em next time

  14. KonradAr on January 10, 2021 at 1:33 am

Asus TUF was the first cheap Ryzen 4000 laptop, and there even was a 17" version.
And then came Acer Nitro 5, to dethronize the budget king by much, with good cooling performance.
I hope to see a better TUF laptop in 2021, with successors of the Ryzen 4600H/4800H and nVidia 1650/1660/Ti AMD 5500XT.

  15. Mr. Nobody on January 10, 2021 at 1:37 am

for what they aim, arent Nitro 5 and legion 5 S tier?

  16. MeTube HD on January 10, 2021 at 1:40 am

  17. Aditya Ghule on January 10, 2021 at 1:40 am

Legion 5i is DEFINITELY not expensive/worse than Legion 5. Go on check the prices.

  18. worldwidehappiness on January 10, 2021 at 1:41 am

I just want 17 inch with these features: quiet, light, small footprint, good speakers, nice screen, nice keyboard, nice looks, and a decent battery.

  25. Megan Axelía Carrington-Ráðvarðardóttir on January 10, 2021 at 1:49 am

The XPS 15 9500 had a faulty trackpad for me, sent it back then they sent me one with faulty hinges and got a black screen issue in the first hour…
Think I’ll just wait for the new Apple MacBook this year…

  26. Sanjeev Mishra on January 10, 2021 at 1:49 am

Should I buy the Acer Nitro 5 1650Ti or Lenovo Legion 5 1650 ? Both are priced the same and have Ryzen 5 4600H processors.

  27. Anonymous on January 10, 2021 at 1:50 am

Thanks Dave for the guide. I ended up with a Legion 5 and I am so happy with it.

  28. Fellipe Rodrigues on January 10, 2021 at 1:53 am

Dave, what would you recommend for both a gaming and editing laptop?

  29. Angela Francisco on January 10, 2021 at 1:54 am

Can anybody help me, I’m choosing between HP Omen 15 (2020) and ASUS’ G14 and I’ve decided that I’ll go with the Omen simply because it has a webcam (because I’ll be needing it for online classes, I find it inconvenient to buy a separate one instead of just getting a laptop that has an integrated webcam already). Am I making the right decision? What’ll I lose by not choosing ASUS? Thanks so much! Feedback is much appreciated.

  30. Daniel Szulc on January 10, 2021 at 1:58 am

I was thinking about legion5 but now I kinda like Blade15, what do you think guys?

  31. Cucumamacacapipi on January 10, 2021 at 1:59 am

I think the problem with your process is that you’re not being very objective. You need to have some kind of objective parameters. Like, thermal, size, modular capability, portability, etc

  32. Enton on January 10, 2021 at 1:59 am

  39. Zach Mcclintock on January 10, 2021 at 2:10 am

  40. Shamarian Revada on January 10, 2021 at 2:10 am

The hp omen had a back half flex that you didn’t like which I’m also not a fan of and it has a slight noise

  41. Koda Junior on January 10, 2021 at 2:12 am
