  5. Michael Hare on January 1, 2021 at 2:10 am

Cannot believe the Sonos Beam in but no Arc. Overall Sonos seems pathetically under represented. $400 against $700? Whiskey Tango Foxtrot!

  6. Android on January 1, 2021 at 2:10 am

Nakamichi 9.2.4 won by a landslide on the blind sound test.

  7. AcesMR on January 1, 2021 at 2:10 am

I’m interested in the Q90R, Sony 5000 or the Sonos Arc + Sub + rears

  8. Richard Donalds on January 1, 2021 at 2:11 am

What about JBL 9.1 soundbar and Samsung HW-Q950T? Do you think these products are great items? I am confused to decide which one to purchase. Send me your feedbacks. Thanks

  9. Juan-Carlos Miranda on January 1, 2021 at 2:12 am

Nakamichi 9.2.4 is the best by far. Dual subs, 3 HDMI inputs and supports Dolby Vision

  10. Ilia Kaygorodov on January 1, 2021 at 2:13 am

    Imma simple man
Just play my music real good wirelessly and make my movies/Games sound better than the stock TV speakers

  16. Randy Hunt on January 1, 2021 at 2:20 am

First of all don’t waste your money on a sound bar. You get so much better sound and effects from a full av surround sound system. You can put one together for very close to the price of a good sound bar. You can buy very good used speakers from ebay and a factory refurbished av receiver from accessaries4less. At least check it out. I purchased a refurbished Onkyo receiver for $250 that has dolby atmos 4 years ago and have not had an issue with it. There are much less expensive ones. The sound is fantastic from my system. I went to a movie theater after buying my system and that is the last time I will ever go to a theater. My system blows away the movie theater, sound and picture.

  17. Louis Dorato on January 1, 2021 at 2:21 am

The Samsung Q90R must sound amazing, but I just hooked up my 9.2.4 Shockwafe and cannot even imagine the Q90R sounding better. My house has now been converted into an IMAX movie theater!

  18. admajestic on January 1, 2021 at 2:24 am

I found you ignoring Sony soundbar

This battle royal was supposed to be in English. However I couldn`t understand what I heard and the closed caption couldn`t keep up or translate dumb talk either. So we the viewer were left to shoot one from a flock of four from the sky. Pick a name brand of preference and declare it the winner because We said so. No help at all. I will build my own from scratch because I know more than all of you combined.

  20. STEVE ORTEZ on January 1, 2021 at 2:27 am

Sorry any sound bar that doesn’t come equipped with Earc is outdated

  21. Jeffery Berg on January 1, 2021 at 2:28 am

Nice presentation I like the Q90R but $$$ is the difference LG SL10YG is a budget winner.

  22. Shine Tech Eng on January 1, 2021 at 2:29 am

Nakamichi 9.2.4 is the price range and the sound quality was is the winner 😍😘👍

  23. Oscar Rodea on January 1, 2021 at 2:30 am

What and why do you prefer, nakamichi 7.2 or Bose 700? Thanks!,,

  24. Jez Blake on January 1, 2021 at 2:30 am

Bose 700 with TWO subwoofers…..mind blowing rich sound. Worth a try!

  30. k bar on January 1, 2021 at 2:39 am

The Bose 700 soundbar breaks if you do not set it up right the first time. $1200 for this crap? Back to the store I go. Bose used to be the best.

  31. Edison Mirandilla on January 1, 2021 at 2:40 am

The sound of these SoundBars have no difference with Receivers + 5.1 or 7.1 Speaker systems. The only difference now, is that, the SoundBars use the TV as the sound source. No more Amplifiers/ Receivers, only theTV. Whereas, the Amplifier/ Receiver + 5.1 or 7.1 Speaker System can be connected to the TV.About four years ago this is called “ Home Cinema”, or “Home Theater System”.But time change, and design change.Nowadays, no more cable connections. Its an era of Wireless tech. The advantage of Receivers is that they have AM/FM Radio and Internet/WIFI

  32. Kiran Joseph on January 1, 2021 at 2:44 am

Outstanding…. Job… Why your not considering JBL series, klipsch audio, sony soundbars here

  33. Geforce RTX on January 1, 2021 at 2:46 am

Are you able to review the following against each other? Yamaha YSP 5600, B&O Soundscape, Bose 700 package, B&W formation bar and Bass, Klipsch Bar 48, Samsung Q90R. That’s my current shortlist looking for a bar that has the highest audio quality possible. Surround features are a plus but solely audio quality and multi room.

  34. N k on January 1, 2021 at 2:47 am

Who the hell picked this narrator? I can only understand about every third word, not to mention the chicano accent. Also it not a race slow the hell down!

  38. vpconcepts on January 1, 2021 at 2:54 am

The Bose 700 got DESTROYED by the Polk Audio MagniFi SR Max at a A/B comparison I did at my local audio store. The Bose sounded typical of there sound, "processed" and compressed at high volume. The Polk was clear, detailed, and threw a much larger soundstage with no compression. Very surprised to see the Bose do so well in the video. NOT my experience at all. I took the Polk system home and I’m very happy. I wish it was in this shootout. 👌🎼✨

First off, anyone who uses a “sound bar” and wants to add rear channel speakers is a total idiot. The whole purpose of a sound bar is to represent the total channel image without adding additional speakers. It is to present the audio listener the experience of almost what an entire home theater system is suppose to sound like but, without the hassle of audio cables and speakers incorporating a more simplistic design. If anyone is going to add speakers to a sound bar, just buy a real home theater setup and get the real thing. Nothing will ever beat the real thing. I hear all this talk about people spending a lot of money on a sound bar just to complain about it not producing a “surround” image representation and they need to add speakers. Well DUH!! of course it won’t. Conclusion: buy a sound bar for the simplistic design and better audio image than their tv speakers. Buy a home theater package to fulfill their desired “surround sound” experience like the cinema.

I Am Suprised To Not Have Seen The Jbl 9.1. The Bose 700 Is A Beast Sound Bar Though.

  42. Gerard Freeman on January 1, 2021 at 2:56 am

How did Nakamichi not win over Samsung? Those twin subwoofers on the Nakamichi are a winner.

  43. Eddie Andreyev on January 1, 2021 at 2:56 am

Bose had everyone beat with sound quality and bass but lacked features

  44. Driver Lexus on January 1, 2021 at 2:58 am

Yamha 5600 is the king of soundbars.

  45. bryan yaninek on January 1, 2021 at 2:58 am

Should only use soundbars. Not component speaker systems

  46. JSW on January 1, 2021 at 2:58 am

i dont agree, even the lack of dolby atmos on the bose 700 its still sound better, the good thing about the bose 700 is everything you throw it at it will play superb you dont need atmos with the bose 700 package with omni jewel speaker, i cant believe you compered it to a cheap plastic samsung with rear speaker cut on and of all the time lol really? thats your top 1? you must be an audio folled

  47. Sachin Gurnani on January 1, 2021 at 2:59 am

Hey u missed on the BlueSound Pulse 2i SoundBar & the Yamaha YSP-5600 … both those are the top contenders. Also I believe Sony HT-ST5000 is amongst the new arrivals of those… check them out if you haven’t. If you haven’t heard the BlueSound then get ready to blow your mind .. it’s no comparison… Bose plainly sucks ⛔️❌🚫

  48. Viincent Fonkert on January 1, 2021 at 3:02 am

Where is the B&W Formation bar & Bass?

  49. Wesley Richardson on January 1, 2021 at 3:02 am

Why would you not use Sonos premier sound bar, the playbar? As opposed to their inferior product? The beam. You used Bose 700 as opposed to their 500, but not Sonos premier product
