  7. V Matt on June 10, 2022 at 9:25 pm

Awkwardly done CNET, I expected better.

  8. Kaleb Tran on June 10, 2022 at 9:26 pm

What about the razor blade stealth, ice lake model

  9. twenlil on June 10, 2022 at 9:27 pm

HP designed their own laptops ?
    Really ?
They did not choose a design from Inventec, Compal Electronics, Quanta Computer, Wistron or Pegatron and just put their logo on them.

"Taiwan notebook Original Design Manufacturers (ODMs) account for more than 90% of global notebook production and Digitimes is there to provide daily updates on shipments, supplier contracts and financial data on the more than 10 Taiwan makers involved in notebook manufacturing."

I just bought lenovo 16g ram, i3, 500g ssd 1T hd 17in for 540 bucks, what more do u need?

  11. Hootan S. on June 10, 2022 at 9:28 pm

I wouldn’t buy HP laptop, they used to be really good, but their quality disintegratesd overtime, we had brought many HP spectre and some other expensive models 3 years ago and every single one of them has a problem, it’s either with their charger, keyboard, and backlit keyboard turnson and off by itself, one of them was send out for repair before, they fixed one thing and then the wifistoppedworking. I am going to look into Lenovo, the only laptops that are lasting us a ling time and still going strong are the Lenovos.

  12. ThingsWeDo on June 10, 2022 at 9:33 pm

This HP & Acer are cool laptops but not for heavy loads, small job and short time yes , they will handle this 🙂
if you put them on full load for several hours, first they’ll overheat which is effecting 4k screen (lines and flickering screen)
First rule , laptop must be thick(thicker chassis) for a good ventilation ( video cards are too powerful) this is only the way they can handle all heavy loads for
example 4k 60 FPS editing for several hours .

  13. kingtennisball on June 10, 2022 at 9:35 pm

facial recantation has been on laptops since the vista days

  14. JunOh on June 10, 2022 at 9:37 pm

None of them I will buy

  15. Euan Thompson on June 10, 2022 at 9:37 pm

I get why schools like Chromebooks, and I get why older customers like them because they are a big phone. Who the heck buys one for a thousand dollars though? And who recommends it?

  16. blacksheep shepherd on June 10, 2022 at 9:38 pm

    Rubbish reviews..

  17. Media Account on June 10, 2022 at 9:40 pm

How did CNet become such garbage. Get the super smart and well informed lady from Mobile Tech Review to do these videos.

  18. louisrobert77 on June 10, 2022 at 9:42 pm

Any devices to multiply my money

  19. Tom A on June 10, 2022 at 9:44 pm

CNET reviews deteriorated to junk. It’s a “very hd screen” , really. What a ball of garbage.

  20. Richard Servello on June 10, 2022 at 9:44 pm

Xeon is pointless in anything but a server….in a laptop it’s laughably pointless. Another company putting in high end hardware that makes no sense to raise the price tag for people that buys based on whitesheets instead of performance.

  21. Ryan Weiss on June 10, 2022 at 9:45 pm

    "Best laptops…"
…proceeds to show off ultrabooks and chromebooks… sigh.

  22. Dr Peter jones on June 10, 2022 at 9:46 pm

if its not x86 software its probably not compatible with your existing software. Samsung has made the wrong size it should be 15 inch or larger. Anything smaller …use your phone. The point and shoot camera demise is an omen for smaller screen laptops.

  23. Richard Servello on June 10, 2022 at 9:48 pm

Linux has full hardware support tho….so beefy devices are now good for gaming. I really want to see ChromeOS on a desktop.

  24. Faustin on June 10, 2022 at 9:50 pm

a $400 chromebook? Just to run a browser?
    That is insane!

  25. mar vladimir jean baptiste on June 10, 2022 at 9:51 pm

Try to review size ratio 15”,keyboard light. Heat temptation battery last hours gaming specs and performance Please

  26. Mike's KD3D on June 10, 2022 at 9:51 pm

To all PC makers , please make a reliable Laptop. I had HP, only lasted 8 months. Then I switched to Dell, about one year, left side keyboard stopped working. Please please, before you make fantasy Laptop, make it work long live.

  27. Ask BAMAGRL26 on June 10, 2022 at 9:51 pm

Are Chromebooks good for doing video? I have a 12yr old who is getting into Broadcast journalism in middle school and wants to learn editing with or without music in her videos. What is a good one out of these from the video? Any suggestions.

  28. G Lasser on June 10, 2022 at 9:52 pm

like the no-non sense review from these 2 seasoned dudes

  29. mtssvnsn on June 10, 2022 at 9:52 pm

I would like a laptop with turntable or detachable screen, that STILL cant be put in portrait position.
Will anyone make one like that?

Oh, everyone makes them like that? *thumbs up*

  30. ChicagoTurtle1 on June 10, 2022 at 9:52 pm

The other half of the consideration is… how’s their customer service (support / warranty / repair). Which make has the best??

  31. Richard Servello on June 10, 2022 at 9:53 pm

Couldn’t see the Pixelbook as a $1000 chromebook? Seriously? I bought it day one and still use it. Amazing device after 2 years.

  32. GOOD SIN on June 10, 2022 at 9:54 pm

you guys must be paying Dell. Dell never made good laptop.

  33. Mike Cui on June 10, 2022 at 9:55 pm

For 1k, I will go for MacBook for sure

  34. Ervis Morales on June 10, 2022 at 9:56 pm

Those are not the best laptops, they are expensive and with little performance, they only have a beautiful design, and you only recommend them by marketing, the best laptop of 2020 should have more 8 cores, 16 GB of ram, graphics card RTX 2060 and costs must be less than $ 2000.

  35. super user on June 10, 2022 at 9:57 pm

    Where Microsoft Surface ?

  36. Esprix on June 10, 2022 at 9:57 pm

Are they reviewing this? Or did they just get done playing golf and looked for another way to waste people’s time. It’s like like listening to a reviewer read reviews and think that everyone will listen to them. I cannot bare to listen or watch this. They’re like children. They look at it and are like "wow cool. This one looks good so it must be amazing" …terrible..terrible reviews.

  37. Mywtfvids on June 10, 2022 at 9:59 pm

So dumb. Ya’ll trying to hard and that Stylus is an S Pen, you didn’t even mention you can FLIP IT. Horrible reviews who lie about actually reviewing a product..

  38. Richard Servello on June 10, 2022 at 10:00 pm

These 2 come off as completely clueless. Please don’t do this again CNET.

  39. Jbilou Anass on June 10, 2022 at 10:00 pm

  41. Faustin on June 10, 2022 at 10:04 pm

The first laptop you unveiled is gorgeous. As always, Dell never disappoints!

  42. 022141able on June 10, 2022 at 10:04 pm

My computer fix it guy, advised me not to buy a Dell or HP, due to poor reliability, inferior parts.

  43. chaosinmybreath on June 10, 2022 at 10:08 pm

The dragonfly also has the 360 hinge. Surprised you guys didn’t mention a key feature.

  44. Jubayer Jumil on June 10, 2022 at 10:10 pm

  45. Philip John on June 10, 2022 at 10:10 pm

  47. vladi plotni on June 10, 2022 at 10:13 pm

    Concept D reminds me something… from 2010?

  48. Richard Servello on June 10, 2022 at 10:15 pm

Wait…you just said the design is the best you’ve seen…and you said the Pixelbook was crap. IT LOOKS IDENTICAL! Only difference is, it’s red…lmao.

  49. Jens Erik Bech on June 10, 2022 at 10:16 pm

"5G!:-) 5G? 5G:o)) 5g;-( comparable to growing tomatoes on Mars!
