Hi everyone ! So i just this little question… after paying 2 years for the app, i realize that its kinda useles cause aldo u can block it or dont alow to be unistaled, using de TASK MANAGER u can just close the program and there… no filthers no nothin.. so pay the subscription when it can be so easily disable? Or is there a way to block manager ?I need a better control of time and to filther some content.. anyone know a better ap?

Do any of these apps have a bucket-style system for time allotment? To me, this should be a no-brainer, but it’s something I haven’t found. Giving kids x amount of time for "games" would be a lot more beneficial than giving specific random allotments of time to each game.

Hello..thanks for the great detailed videos…I am also in IT for the past 20 yrs…we are just getting ready to give twin boys a phone…Verizon is the provider, they are talking that their "Smart Family parental app and plan gives all that you’ll need….I was also told by another Verizon store that since Verizon isn’t an app developer per say,, that i should look to 3rd party parental controls and suggested "My Watchdog" ….
Question: have you ever used or have any thoughts about the Verizon Smart Family application and how it stacks up to other 3rd party parental control applications…is Verizon worth it? Or does it lack important coverage control 🤔..thanks

Rip all the parents when your child looks down at you and moves away in adult hood, never wanting to see your face ever again.

i’ve watched some of your videos and just got my kids their 1st phones. i’ve put Bark, Boomerang, and family link on them and i’m super overwhelmed with it all. there is so much on each and a lot of over lapping. I’ve tired to mirror everything for each kid but things are not working correctly on one phone. do you have videos on set up of each app just feel like there were so many questions/steps i’m hoping i set everything up right? Also have you seen a lag with the use of all these apps?

  8. Gavin Matthews on June 4, 2022 at 10:49 pm

Does any of them block extensions in browsers?

  9. David Contreras on June 4, 2022 at 10:50 pm

Do you have a new Bark discount code/link? This one doesn’t work.

  10. Gator on June 4, 2022 at 10:51 pm

Is there a parental control app that let’s you see what your child is texting or snapping their friends? With Qustodio I can see friends reply in Android messager but not what my son texted. In Snapchat can not see what either has snapped. Thanks so much.

another fix for if they have an application on their phone that you decide you do not want them to have any longer, the one thing that can solve that problem is to remove the app, and then go to Content & Privacy Restrictions>iTunes &App Store Purchases>Installing Apps (and select don’t allow). My daughter had some social media that I decided I no longer wanted her to have and this has solved our problem with it. hope it helps.

Don’t use Net Nanny! I am having bad experience of Canceling it. Net Nanny has no Canceling function, it is nightmare, you are better to keeping away from Net Nanny

for any children that have any of these apps on their phone and have an android, just hold down the power button, when the menu comes up hold down the power off for 2 seconds then you’ll enter safe mode which in turn disables the parent app and then you can unistall in the settings app

  23. Round Peg on June 4, 2022 at 11:03 pm

OK so bark doesn’t let me see the actual content unless it flags it and even then it’s only partial. So in short it’s useless. I want something to see literally every thing.

  28. Pedro Rosales on June 4, 2022 at 11:05 pm

WARNING WARNING WARNING. my 12 year old just beat Outpact…twice. i’m moving on to something else.

  29. PrecureFan2022 on June 4, 2022 at 11:06 pm

OurPact VS Bark…which would you recommend?

  30. Ashley White on June 4, 2022 at 11:06 pm

I’m having trouble with my sneaky 12 year old son. He’s been texting, deleting, blocking messages and contacts while at home- i need an app that will monitor ALL texts, even deleted messages. We’ve had issues in the past with him being bullied, being sent p*rn , and him having depression and suicidal thoughts.

  32. Gretchen Johnson on June 4, 2022 at 11:10 pm

Ever heard of Parallel Space? It is an app that allows for blocked apps to be mirrored and hidden. I blocked Snapchat and my teen son figured out how to do this.

  38. Kyler Geston on June 4, 2022 at 11:19 pm

It’s now Feb 2022 and I am just curious if you have discovered any other parental control apps for iPhone?
I’m interested in monitoring what text is being sent/received for any app. (iMessage, FB, TikTok, etc)

Anyone else know of any other products that should be included here ?
(without needing to have a computer on the same network like Bark)

Just trying to do my research first before making a final decision.

  39. JephiWonderVlogger on June 4, 2022 at 11:21 pm

as an 11 yr old kid, my opinion is they suck as fuck

  40. Synthrical on June 4, 2022 at 11:21 pm

Honestly parents trying this is sad, ur children will only be more secret and this is just a breach of privacy. If you do this just dont let ur kids have a phone at all.

  41. Mae Gonzales on June 4, 2022 at 11:23 pm

What do you recommend to block or monitor incognito mode for google chrome app on an iPhone? I was able to disable incognito mode on safari, but I’m having a hard time disabling it on google chrome app on iPhone.

  42. RickE Ramirez on June 4, 2022 at 11:24 pm

Wonderfully detailed review- really appreciate this thank you. Quick question if you don’t mind. Does using multiple software solutions create an issue working alongside ‘Family Sharing’ for IOS. Can Family sharing be used with Bark, and Boomarang for IOS simultaneosly? Thank you for your time.

  43. Josh Carroll on June 4, 2022 at 11:25 pm

Google family link completely disables safe mode too.

  44. Aalyah Rivera on June 4, 2022 at 11:28 pm

Apps like these just make us more secretive and less likely to trust you.

How can I keep my kid from messing with apps for example if I don’t want my 9 yr old texting or deleting important apps that have to do with functions

  48. Devin Adint on June 4, 2022 at 11:34 pm

The 13 year age Copa is a bit crazy even though parents are still held responsible for things their kids do up to 18

  49. Fernando S. on June 4, 2022 at 11:37 pm

Love you video. Which app give parents the most control if we have android devices but my daughter has an IOS? Not an IOS fan but it was a free phone, lol. Can I use Family Link if we have androids buy daughter has an Iphone? Im leaning on Qustodio or mmGaurdian because my daughters phone and tablet is an IOS device. What is your thought?

I’d be very curious how you feel about net nanny.
