    I had the same thing happen to me. My tv quit on me just a week ago and I checked my receipt and I had a 4-year warranty. They just took my tv today to repair it. I had to wait a whole week to get someone to take the tv and now they are saying it will take 1 to 2 weeks for it to be fixed. I won’t have a tv for almost a month. I am glad I bought a warranty but this is taking way to long to be fixed.

    i buy everything from Best buy with the protection plan, totally worth it. In Canada, for me they do not even exchange the item, they just give me a gift card, its awesome. I have had Cameras, computer components, tvs and multiple phones replaced with Best buy. Just had a $200 keyboard replaced, bought another one and got the warranty, guaranteed i will break it within 3 years 😉 right when i am ready to upgrade. No questions asked, straight up exchange for a gift card

    You were lucky. The Samsung phone warranties are useless. I bought a Geek Squad warranty for my new Samsung phone and it quit working 2 weeks later. I took it in and was told they no longer work on Samsung phones but would mail it to Samsung IF I paid them $90 in advance to do that. I asked for a refund on the useless warranty plan but they refused.
