The No Place Like Home quest from The Witcher 3 is a main quesr, not a side quest.
With so many amazing quests to choose from in that game, you chose one that did not match your criteria lmao.

The side quest when you fight side by side with the forest spirit against a giant demon, in Middle Earth: Shadow of War.
That was one hell of an epic quest. Really loved it.
The Homestead missions of Assassin’s Creed 3, particularly the ones where you get the miner and the huntress hitched.
Witcher 3 is basically side quest and the greatest ive ever played the Main Quest is good to but the way its connected to the great side quest makes the total game for me so lit.
No doubt Kafei and Anju from Majora’s Mask is the GOD of side quests. I’ll fight you on it.
The Tarrey Town sidequest in Breath of the Wild will always be my favorite.
I wouldn’t say that it’s one of the best side quests ever, but it was really satisfying when you get to the conclusion. Fallout 4: Nick Valentine’s loyalty mission. You have to travel around with Nick, collecting tapes that tell the story of a 200-year-old crime boss named Eddie Winter. Along the way you do some detective work, and eventually get into his bunker for a short talk, then boss fight with the man. Something about it just feels so good to me knowing that I was able to take down this centuries old criminal.

Mass effect 2 WAS the loyalty missions

So we’re just going to forget about blood and wine? Detlaf’s quest was a departure from the main story and one of the best side quests in the game.
People often forget that the entire civil war story was a side mission in Skyrim. Ahh how I remember when meeting the imperials was under the miscellaneous section…

i would have the identity thief side mission on batman arkham city instead of pyg . to find out it was hush and the reason why he did it, to get back at his most hated enemy and former childhood friend bruce wayne and what makes it a kick in the balls, he gets way with it. having to wait till arkham knight to take him down for good.
I mean, everyone knows the true number 1 on the list is Baron’s sidequest from The Witcher 3
The Anju and Kafei quest from Majoras Mask best be number 1
I hope they do a commenters edition and i hope they talk about breath of the wild. Botw has tons of cool and heart warming side missions but my personal favorite is the terry town series. It’s a touching story where you help to build not only a new town, but you forage new bonds and beautiful moments.

I disagreed about everyone one of these quests being better than the main story until you got to the mass effect loyalty missions. But then you pointed out tali’s as being the best. So I had to go right back to disagreeing.
The just cause 4 danger rising was alot better than the main story

From The Ground Up is way better than the story of botw
1- borderlands 2
2- witcher 3
3- dragon age inquistion
The best Tali sidequest mission is when you bring Legion along with you on the quest.
It has been a hot while since I played the Witcher 3 but I am sure that the quest you mentioned is the main story lol. Yes you have the option before the drinks begin where you can say no thanks I need sleep we have a big world deciding fight in the morning, so yes there is a way out of it but its still part of the main story. not really a side quest

Not Place Like Home is not a sidequest you dummy its part of the main questline jesus. I was already mad at the dumb clickbaity title but figured hey maybe a few sidequest I missed but obviously you just talk about moments you like in game without really caring if it fits into the video or not.
