    Got a Dell dual core workstation for £29 and put in 4gb ram and new drives and hd video card. Has XP and runs Cakewalk sonar without problems recording and playing back wav audio and multiple vst keyboards and plugins.

    If you’re just recording vocals you could use almost any computer. It does however take a good computer if you’re producing and using lots of high end vsts.

    Are these computers good enough to run fl studio and some pretty big plugins with it like omnisphere and nectar and all that shit? Bc my problem now is my laptop will not keep up with all the programs at one time it just crashes bc its using all the cpu trying to keep up w everything.
