This exact generation of laptops has rather suddenly reappeared in my country and is currently on sale. ASUS seems to be banking of the fact that the average person doesn’t have a very good memory, but thankfully this video is an excellent reminder of why not the best choice. A shame the competent speakers and excellent battery life (at least on the 90Whr model) are wasted on a device with an abysmal display panel and questionable cooling. Thank you, JT

I bought this model 2 months ago . First day I already found out battery problem. Battery level drop below 50% only after 1 hour of zoom classes. Problem keeps going until today. Second problem came after 1 month use, the keyboard could work at all . This problem happened few times. But recently quite OK. However didn’t use it for typing doc. Third problem came after second month. Now camera cannot work for my son zoom and meet classes. I paid 4200 ringgit for this stupid crap. I really feel want to throw this piece of junk onto the wall. Before this, I have bought 3units lenoVo and they have No problem. I this time just first time tried Asus and I really disappointed. I called up customer support, no use. I have to send it to service center because still under warrantee.unfortunately, I don’t dare to go out at this covid horrible time. Only have to wait until covid gone. My son will have online math contest. I don’t think can join because of the camera problem. I feel super regret, furious and depress for buying this laptop. I swear I and my family members will ban Asus products forever.

Does this laptop run minecraft Java edition?

  24. Tim Barnes on March 21, 2022 at 6:09 pm

re 2.5" hdd cable: Asus does give you one in the original box…however, the one I got isn’t long enough to reach the plug when my hdd is put into the crade.

  25. GooseMan on March 21, 2022 at 6:10 pm

got one of these recently, within 12 hours of purchase the display burned up into a white screen of death and couldn’t displayed anything after reboot besides vertical lines.

got it replaced with another type of laptop the day after. Honestly dont know how it happened but I suspect either the weird stock displays they used compared to the decent other parts they have (1 TB SSD drive, 1650ti GPU, i5 CPU…) died or cooling issues since the fan got pretty loud even without Turbo mode.

    So buyer beware

  26. f on March 21, 2022 at 6:12 pm

Been using mine for about a year casually. It has quirks and the build quality is rougher than my old XPS but it was an excellent and safe upgrade for someone looking to jump into laptop gaming.

  31. Lee Ho on March 21, 2022 at 6:17 pm

This laptop is suck!!!!!!. I newly bought this laptop 5 months ago. Once I bring home, I found battery only last 3 hours for fully charge, after 1month used, the camera stop working most of the time for zoom or meet classes, sometimes, the keyboard not working. Today is the worst. Its screen stop working completely after I try to restart for many times. When the time I buy, the seller told me Asus will provide on site service,. Once I bought home, I called up for problems, the technical department cannot help to solve peoblems, they change saying they don’t provide on-site repair.just asked me to send to their service center. But I really not dare to out to public place at this critical period. ASUS IS THE BIGGEST LIAR. I feel now so much regret for buying this stupid laptop. Hope everybody don’t fall trap to buy this rubbish.

  34. José Guzmán on March 21, 2022 at 6:19 pm

With my budget I could buy an awesome laptop in US but in Mexico (which is where I live) with the same budget I only can afford an ASUS TUF ryzen 5 and 1660ti, my budget is 1300 dlls but in Mexico the prices are so high, I cannot belive that all the laptops here double the normal price of the product

  35. ramiro cruz on March 21, 2022 at 6:20 pm

    But I have the 2060 with 90W Battery variant!😐

  36. Michael Bodine on March 21, 2022 at 6:21 pm

They Run Paradox Interactive Games along with Total War games, like a dream and that is all I cared about for a $1,000 gaming laptop. I’ll build a Desktop gaming PC next for games like Elite & Battlefield.
