This was really helpful for me. Thank you!

  8. Woot Bassman on February 8, 2022 at 10:15 pm

Im looking forward to a 17inch pen enabled laptop thats not $8000 (Acer – ConceptD 9 Pro). Or a 17inch Pen enabled display that is battery powered. Anyone know of one?

Lisa always the best, my favourite tech channel!
I believe that the lg gram is 1.35 kg (2.2 lbs).

  10. mayur kulkarni on February 8, 2022 at 10:17 pm

where can I buy that T shirt.
    that’s dope!

  11. Matthew Kirsch on February 8, 2022 at 10:17 pm

Thank you, this is nice. A more useful reference for me would be portable business laptops that have a good option for docking to a home office environment. Personally, even a 17" monitor is too small for real development work long term. Being able to display on FHD/4k monitors or TV’s along with peripherals is more important than the physical laptop display.

EDIT: ive just bought a MSI GE65 Raider 95E 240hz RTX 2060 1TB SSD laptop and its cool i guess
it cost $1,616 dollars if anyone wanted to know i would’ve got the mac but it cost like $2,400 for a bigger screen
Those 15 or 16 inch MacBooks are $2,000 and up lol

On the microcenter website that is

I would like to try MacBook but not for $2,000 and up.

It’s always nice to try different things πŸ˜‰

Great review. While I have a gaming desktop, having a "gaming" notebook means to me that I have a notebook that fairly matches my desktop in terms of productivity work, more so than gaming. Gaming just happens to be the cherry on top of that proverbial cake, as it were. Hence, why in 2021, I prefer a powerful gaming notebook that is demure and conservative in appearance during my time at the office when I am interacting with medical staff/patients/hospital executives, etc.,

Very informative. My laptop for work is not doing it for the amount of applications I work in at any given time. I’ve really been researching the LG Gram as an upgrade due to its light architecture.

I’d love to see your review of the Aftershock Vapor Pro (Eluktronic Mag 15 in America).

  20. Pi A on February 8, 2022 at 10:25 pm

    That Alienware looks pretty slick!

Why did the alienware fall out of popular recommendations? I remember them being everywhere 5-7 yrs back.

  21. Yoann_M on February 8, 2022 at 10:25 pm

Could you do a portable monitor comparison ? Thoses with type C that power the display and carry data seems pretty convenient.

  22. Greg Kelway on February 8, 2022 at 10:27 pm

Thank you for another great video! If you have any suggestions on a decent / value usb-c monitor that works with macbook & ipad pro, that would be awesome. πŸ™‚

    …recommending a crapple product?

$2500. I could buy a running f!@king vehicle for that. My god.

Yeah, from now on any ‘tuber that tries to sell me crapple gets blocked. That’s just disgusting.

Hi Lisa, been a fan for a long time! Would appreciate a Asus ROG G14 with the Ryzen9 review before I purchase. How are the speakers and how loud is it in silent mode, doing productivity? Looking to play games with the kids but still be a good size, an upgrade from a MacBook.

I love that you talk about blender renders. That’s exactly what I plan on using my msi ge75 for

  33. Richard Neal on February 8, 2022 at 10:35 pm

I looked at the MSI GE75 and I found the Gigabyte Auros 7 was far better priced product for this segment.

  34. Csl Bosho on February 8, 2022 at 10:35 pm

Thanks for the awesome content! Do you plan on reviewing the HP ZBook Studio and Create which were just announced?

  35. RUSS on February 8, 2022 at 10:37 pm

great editing and well produced video Lisa. I could tell it was a race against the clock to make 5 minutes but I couldn’t tell at the same time. This is because you were able to fit a perfect amount of info without filler info and I appreciate that. As a novice creator, I look at other youtubers as more than just a content consumer, but as a producer of video content and I just love your style. Keep it up you got a fan in me!

OmG I love that shirt β™₯
Oh, and nice guide too πŸ˜…

  37. Mortino Canoo on February 8, 2022 at 10:41 pm

I don’t get it, Lisa. You are wearing the biggest microphone ever, yet the sound quality in all your videos is extremely bad.

  38. Tech Intelligencer on February 8, 2022 at 10:45 pm

    LG gram is looking attractive

  39. Andrei on February 8, 2022 at 10:45 pm

You can build a mini pc that will outperform most of these laptops and at half the price (or even less). I was hoping to buy a laptop but they’re too expensive – the ones that are actually decent. If you just need to edit documents and write emails, you can get a Chromebook which is dirt cheap. I’d say that the only advantage a laptop offers is portability and the gaming ones barely manage that.

00:13 Who works at home with laptop for a company, usually has a company laptop. So that 13β€œ laptop belongs to the company (company software running on it). So its difficult to replace laptop because of the company software running on it. So easier to get the company monitor shipped to the home office or buying a new, big monitor.

Hello Lisa, would you kindly make a video advising which tablet with a keyboard (preferably a keyboard by the same manufacturer, instead of 3rd party) is best for productivity? Eg. Multitasking, video conference, Microsoft Office, photoshop, note taking etc.
