Literally JUST picked up my Nordic Ware at Target.. but not before first watching their October 2016 review! I always consult the Test Kitchen first! 💁🏽‍♀️

  2. SonicBoomC98 on November 15, 2021 at 11:33 am

Would have liked to see them sit something heavier on the racks. Also is there any issue with just getting racks form Nordic?

  3. Kurt Schaefer on November 15, 2021 at 11:33 am

The Checkered Chef Cooling Racks have three supports and not the Liberty Ware, which has two supports.

  4. sbnsbaker1 on November 15, 2021 at 11:34 am

Odd that your pictures show using parchment paper??????????

  5. Rodrigo on November 15, 2021 at 11:35 am

Just what I needed; perfect examples in black and white

  6. Mark R on November 15, 2021 at 11:37 am

Cooling rack that lay slanted are annoying

  7. Mahu Mike on November 15, 2021 at 11:38 am

IM LOSING MY MIND! HOW can they suggest a rack that doesnt fit and then say it fits perfectly? Is his last name TRUMP? Sometimes i wonder how much they care about testing compared to their income from sales. Just sometimes… Anyway I wish I knew which kind mine were because i need more and mine DO fit perfectly WOW Unreal

  8. Mel Rupp on November 15, 2021 at 11:38 am

I’m stuck with a 24 inch oven, so I went with NordicWare and Libertyware quarter-size…not gonna lie, they’re amazing, alone ore combined.

  9. Jon Mcmurdy on November 15, 2021 at 11:39 am

I looked and it does not look like the racks come with the sheet pans like they said.

  10. Owlsome on November 15, 2021 at 11:41 am

The reviews of the Libertyware racks are terrible! Can you please do another test for racks and I’d love to buy stainless steel baking sheets. Maybe test those as well, please.

  11. JESUS Name Above All Names on November 15, 2021 at 11:42 am

    *05/20/2020*
Lisa M., the ATK guru gadget lady, did a very similar episode in Oct. 2016. 👊

  12. Pan Mar on November 15, 2021 at 11:43 am

Where is the link for cooling racks?

  13. Turbo Bitch on November 15, 2021 at 11:43 am

    "Houndstooth pattern"
    Several minutes pass
    OH HE MEANT HERRINGBONE

  14. ARL H on November 15, 2021 at 11:43 am

I bought 2 nordicware half sheets from Target about 10 years ago. I think they were maybe $10 each. I have used the crap out of them. I use them daily and I use them for everything!!! 👌

  15. Lisha Raghani on November 15, 2021 at 11:44 am

I dont think you tested the new model for the nordicware pan… because the one you showed in the video doesn’t have the label at the top but the one they produce now have the label "nordic ware"….

  16. David Slone on November 15, 2021 at 11:44 am

Would you mind posting a link for the cooling rack?

  17. Citizen Len on November 15, 2021 at 11:45 am

I like the lady best when she reviews. This guys voice is jarring

  18. Naya-Darice Ramos on November 15, 2021 at 11:45 am

Question, will you ever do a loaf pan review? I’ve loved your winner’s so far.

  19. Mark Austin on November 15, 2021 at 11:47 am

    Why……would anyone/roast …..parsnips ???

  20. Carl Montney on November 15, 2021 at 11:48 am

I bought both of these based on your recommendation and they are truly the best. Work great for anything and way easy to clean. My racks are similar but actually fit the pans. WINNER!!

  21. Mark R on November 15, 2021 at 11:48 am

It fits perfectly.. IT WAS A BARGAIN!

  22. SwampDweller67 on November 15, 2021 at 11:50 am

    I expected more rimming.

  23. Holly M on November 15, 2021 at 11:51 am

    love these test videos, thanks

  24. Joni Johnson on November 15, 2021 at 11:52 am

I am sending a baking gift set with baking sheets and a cooling rack. I want to send the best. Where do I go for that information? America’s Test Kitchen…. Only ATK. Such good testing and explanations. Thanks again!

  25. Kevin Brown on November 15, 2021 at 11:53 am

The number 1 pick is made from aluminum though and I have heard that aluminum can leach into the food.

  26. Hank W on November 15, 2021 at 11:54 am

Vollrath is the best, though Nordicware is pretty good. I have both

  27. Elimnio on November 15, 2021 at 11:54 am

Why is it ok to use alumin(i)um here when most cooks dont like alumin(i)um pans to cook?

  28. Tom Sparks on November 15, 2021 at 11:55 am

25 or more years ago, after many warps, I found 2 half sheets by Polar Ware (USA) that are my permanents. Can’t find more than a 1/4 sheet. Now I scour thrift stores — recently found a 1/3 sheet by Pampered Chef –of solid material which I’ve used a few times already and it is indestructible. Nothing is made any good anymore. We all know it.

  29. Vizzini on November 15, 2021 at 11:56 am

Everybody appreciates a nice rack, but that cooling rack has roughly 1,200 individual squares, each of which must be cleaned after cooking your sticky BBQ pork. I prefer racks with parallel "bars" in just one direction, which are much easier to clean.

  30. 4444colin on November 15, 2021 at 11:57 am

My local Ralph’s store has these on super sale right now. I think when they are so inexpensive judgement drops and you just use and enjoy.

  31. Evil Monkey on November 15, 2021 at 11:58 am

So glad to have found this channel. Really enjoying your videos!

  32. porchcricket on November 15, 2021 at 12:04 pm

Is the liberty cooling grid the GRA4 (chrome plated) or the GRA4-SS (Stainless steel)? (Or GRA2/GRA2-SS)?

  33. Jasmine McDaniel on November 15, 2021 at 12:05 pm

I can’t find the cooling rack and there’s no link to it. Where can I find it??? Anyone know?

  34. Elizabeth Shaw on November 15, 2021 at 12:05 pm

I have two of those half sheet pans with the lines on them and I have ordered two of the Nordic Ware bakers have sheet. I will still continue to use my others because they work just fine. 🙂

  35. STR LL on November 15, 2021 at 12:07 pm

Any suggestions on pure stainless steel baking/ roasting pans? After many years of trying many different types, I conclude that they are the only type of pan I want.

  36. Sarah F. Hasan on November 15, 2021 at 12:08 pm

How about Polar Ware baking sheets? I got them from Sams club

  37. J Nelson on November 15, 2021 at 12:08 pm

After trying both Nordic Ware and Tiger Chef pans, I noticed that the Nordic Ware half-sheet pan cover fit the Tiger Chef pan much better than the Nordic Ware pan, which was also more expensive. So I bought more Tiger Chef pans and Nordic Ware pan covers. I also agree with their choice of rack and have several of those as well.

  38. J T on November 15, 2021 at 12:08 pm

Please recommend one tray and rack combo coming in at max $3….we ain’t all rich I’m afraid! 😆

  39. Bubsmp R on November 15, 2021 at 12:08 pm

Love it when the OGs are on.

  40. ME NY on November 15, 2021 at 12:10 pm

Nordic Ware baker’s sheet is made in aluminum. Sorry, not using aluminum to cook.

  41. dggrj on November 15, 2021 at 12:15 pm

Did you test how rust-proof the racks were? My last one rusted at its solder points, I would like to avoid that or know what I did wrong and how to effectively clean them after use, please.

  42. Night Stringers on November 15, 2021 at 12:16 pm

those cooling racks look like a nightmare to clean

  43. jlastre on November 15, 2021 at 12:16 pm

I have the Nordicware and can say they are very well built; however, ATK’s choice in wire rack is weird. Yes it’s oven safe but according to the company’s specs it’s chromed. You can find 18/8 304 stainless that is oven/broiler save for about the same price.

  44. Leon Cranswick on November 15, 2021 at 12:17 pm

Nordic ware half sheet: $14.97 in the US, $46.98 in Australia

  45. STR LL on November 15, 2021 at 12:20 pm

Can these be scrubbed with SOS pads or a thicker metal thread – type scrub pad without destroying their surface? I also think that the cooling rack does not fit perfectly. A roast could slide off that, as someone mentioned further down.

  46. judgetoogood on November 15, 2021 at 12:23 pm

    Where is link to libertyware

  47. Michael Lupu on November 15, 2021 at 12:26 pm

    "Hound’s tooth pattern"? It’s Herringbone.

  48. Kathryn Dionne Monzon on November 15, 2021 at 12:27 pm

I’m not sure if their rack is 304 stainless. I use Kitchenatics cooling rack and they are 100% 304 stainless steel, dishwasher-safe and grilling safe. I have used mine for 2 years now and still looks good as new! Doesn’t rust too! You can check out their website : https://kitchenatics.com/shop-now/ for the products. 🙂

  49. MrsK Hillman on November 15, 2021 at 12:29 pm

WHERE do you buy the liberty ware half sheet cooling rack from???

  50. Jesse Lewis on November 15, 2021 at 12:29 pm

I love your reviews, please can you review oven gloves etc for taking cast iron out of the hottest ovens. Jesse in the UK
