Vizio Soundbar Line | Hands-On at CES 2020

Vizio has always enjoyed a reputation for producing soundbars that are fantastic values, delivering far better sound than their affordable prices would suggest. And while that’s still true, at CES 2020, Vizio is upping its soundbar game considerably.

I like Vizio soundbars and I’d be willing to upgrade my 5.1 32 inch sound bar. My one gripe though is anything sub 32 inches is only 2.1 and I don’t have the dresser space for anything larger in my bedroom.

They need to work in all their connectivity issues before keep updating all the hardware.

You talk about some dumb input for “smart” assistants but make no mention of wether or not any of their soundbars have eARC. Glad to see your head in the right place…

I will not be buying a vizio soundbar again. The 1 i had in 2016 worked perfect no issues. The 2019 5.1.4 is a complete mess, hdmi arc issue, subwoofer cnnx issues i constantly have and my soundbar cant be found with that stupid app. I tossin this shit in closet & buying the nakamichi 9.2.4

  20. James Jones on November 20, 2020 at 5:40 pm

I’m very glad they’re changing their remotes and I’m liking what I’m seeing. Depending on the price of them, I just might buy one this year since I’m looking for a new sound bar.

  21. NoPointOfThis123 on November 20, 2020 at 5:44 pm

Price estimate on the Elevate bar?

  22. Space Cadet on November 20, 2020 at 5:46 pm

Unless they have eARC, they’re worthless

I bought their 36" dolby atmos 5.1.4 soundbar last year. It is definitely the best bang for your buck when it comes to dolby atmos soundbar. It’s perfect for a bedroom or small living room.

  26. SC C on November 20, 2020 at 5:55 pm

    ETA on the sound bars?

  27. Deveal Stone on November 20, 2020 at 5:55 pm

The Dolby Atmos Vizio soundbar I have is completely useless. it disconnects everyday, every couple of hours. Then I have to get it up and reconnect it. I wish I could get a refund

  28. Aexoero V on November 20, 2020 at 5:55 pm

  30. 5elect5creen on November 20, 2020 at 5:57 pm

Any info on a release date?

  31. ABN on November 20, 2020 at 5:58 pm

Just bought the Vizio 5.1.2 for $289.00 from Sams Club.
Just looked at the price at Walmart they want $590.00. I stay winning!!
What will the starting rate go for the new base model?
    1,000??
I’ll check it out and if I don’t like it I’ll wait.
Vizio Soundbars hang with the best of them.
