I knew some guys who had TV, and Screens down to the Numbers. Those were CRT’s, and the Numbers worked.
So iam a purist 🤣
For gaming is same setting?
You should really consider making a video for advanced/power users just so I can cut thru the fluff… so much fluff. 🙄🙄🙄
I go too dynamic and adjust it from there!

All I want is an image that isn’t flat or so bright it hurts my eyes.
Tnx
You talk too much. Go straight to the point geez
next time make it simple and suggest a best adjusted mode ?
I still prefer dynamic mode. My standard, natural and cinema mode is too dark.

What’s the best settings for a Samsung Q95t for watching sky Q and football thanks
Samsung tv menu looks like Nintendo switch
Only thing I would add is, be careful about setting back light too high, it could shorten the life of the L.E.D’s.

I’ve been calling it the soap opera effect before the the term was commonly known! Many years ago I was watching the movie Prince of Persia on my friends TV and I’m like I don’t like this s*** it looks like a soap opera it doesn’t look cinematic at all and now you can tell that the set of the movie is fake

I like a clearer better motion picture so I turn on gradiation and put it in smooth movement but if you like motion that’s not so good more power to you, I won’t be following any of your suggestion cause it sounds like you want a picture that looks crappy
Just bought the Samsung AU8000 65 inch and no matter what I do it has the worst judder it gives me a headache what a piece of shit. Returning it tomorrow

No latest LCD OLEd tv can defeat CRTs input lag
I like my tv settings the way they are there’s no need for me to change them
24 frames per second is stupid in 2021. Sorry didn’t mean to insult anyone. But are you freaking kidding me? Yes yiu might be 40 years old and have taste for classics, that doesn’t mean new things aren’t better. Try scrolling down a long document on your pc at 30 frames per second or even 60 for that matter, and then try it at 120 or 144 frames per second if you have the monitor to support it,is night and day in terms of motion,so much clear, and easier on the eyes. No way in hell I would ever go back to use a 60 hz monitor so why would I spend $2000 on a new tv just to watch movies at 24 frames per second? It looks like crap, it gives me headaches. Is so difficult to make up what the hell is going on in fast moving scenes, like a panning shot across a field or a city block,or anything similar. This might have been the norm 20 years ago when tvs were so much smaller, but on big tvs this is not ok. How about movie makers start filming at 120 fps, the only reason this is not done is not because it isn’t better,is because it is expensive, and because the movie industry doesn’t want to invest billions of dollars in upgrading their tools from camera sets,to movie theater projectors, screens, you name it.
Sure Iam coming at this from a gamer perspective, where you would always want to achieve fluidity and smoothness in games, hell there are 240hz monitors nowadays for people that have the money to afford $1000 video cards offcourse, but the option is there. Nobody wants to play games at 24 fps lol, everyone knows it sucks. The higher the frames per second the better the gaming experience, so why do movies need to be at a ridiculous low 24 fps again? Anyone knows exactly what is the reasoning behind this?
I do would like to add though that I get it. Not all tvs are capable tvs like mine that can handle smoothening of fast moving scenes beautifully, that is true so in some situations because of the low quality of the tv you are better off just turning it off. However the hate should not be thrown at these features, the problem is the source, movie makers making films at 24 fps still, in 2021 that is just unacceptable.
This guys:avoid vivid
Me: what do you mean its good for gaming
So I don’t really need to pay for a professional calibration service that includes a full Q/C for dead or stuck pixels, abnormal banding, tinting, screen uniformity and any defect in the TV… It would cost $600… Worth it? I’m looking at 77" A80J and I’m running out of time trying to decide as its sale price ends tomorrow! Thanks in advance!
Don´t turn off Motion Plus on Samsung TVs for Netflix, prime or YouTube. Set Judder and Blur to 0. This will give you original 24p without stutter.
Use Movie Mode out of the box and turn off digital clean view.
Copy Movie Mode SDR into Game Mode SDR and Movie Mode HDR into Game Mode HDR (you can only adjust, if you play a HDR Game or open HDR settings from your Console). Turn off Black Equalizer under External Device and Game Mode and turn off Game Motion Plus. If you want Motion Plus for slow JRPGs you 10 Blur and 5 Judder is a good way without to much artefacts around the character. But i would use this only for slow RPGs. Turn it off for most other games and the lowest input lag.
Then you get the most natural picture without spending much time or money. This works also for other TV Brands.
Movie Mode Settings will look a bit warm and "washed out" at begin but it is only our brain that adapt these fake cold and overblowing settings as natural. After some days you will see that it looks natural und neutral. Don´t use max backlight on SDR (only on HDR). In best case use out of the box backlight on both.
I have no backlight setting, very hard to watch dark scenes
