Me, with all of these, but still has a shit computer:
No shit. Is this 2011?
This is great advice actually
Biggest problem with ssd is price. Like currently I’m looking to build an itx system and obv that can’t fit my old hard drive. Only problem is that my hard drive is 10tb. A 10tb ssd is literally thousands of dollars. Max storage I’m going to have is like 4 tb compared to my 12 right now.
He’s not lying about the SSD, just had my HDD die after like 5 years and holy hell was the upgrade insane. It used to take like 1-5 mins to start my PC before but now it’s literally like 5 seconds max.
Suggest me a good powe supply
Note : ssd and nvme speed is very noticeable. So, buy ssd
Guys.. what prebuilt has good airflow?? Or best prebuilt desktop 3060/3070 to add fans?
Isn’t ssd span life shorter than a regular hdd?
When I upgraded from a hdd to m.2 what a difference
This is 10 months late, but one issue with ssds is that they don’t last as long as hdds
Use a SSD to put operating system on and hard drive for all else
I found a gaming PC on Amazon for 200$ it’s called HP ProDesk Desktop Customized RGB Lights Computer Intel Core i5 do you think it’s any good for my to save up for
How do i replace a HDD with a SSD
The 3 most BASIC things you should do when building a pc.
Full of it
Im 2 steps ahead of you
Lol been running a 5600x with a 3070ti on a 430 watt psu for the last year and haven’t had a problem
Talking about 4GB DIMMs is weird. The smallest DDR4 DIMM is 8GB. DDR3 has 4GB DIMMS but it is two generations old.
SSDs have never outperformed a hard drive in my experience…at least not enough to make me want to switch.
Guys I am a pc with a hdd and a ssd but my boot drive is on the hdd how do I change to my ssd that I have
To get a good ssd you gotta pay high money, and HDD’s can actually have great download and upload speed for cheaper price.
I already have everything installed on the hdd how can I transfer everything to the SSD?
Mmmm could you explain a little further why 2 Ram slots work better than 1? I’m getting a B550 Gaming plus and I was told that for that MOB 1 stick would work better than 2
Unfortunately my motherboard disabled m2 slots unless I have a specific cpu so hard drive life is the life I live now.
Dual channel ram is massively better than single channel. Not slightly.

My rx580 caused every other working component of my pc to completely fail
This dude just named three things that are the Least impactful to your performance unless your power supply is actually a bad unit
I’ve not seen a pc or even a hdd for sale anywhere in like the last 5 or so years anyway.
Hey I’ve been wondering if you could upgrade my laptop because I’m on a low budget. I’ve also been having a few issues with my RAM and the computer seems to be slowing down every day.
I have a SSD and a HDD in my pc which add up to 4tb of storage.
Just had to buy a new psu.. and a new case… And a new motherboard
I just built my computer today, and after getting everything set up, I come back home and turn it on, and it’s booted within 5 seconds.
M.2s are insane
i reverted back to disk drives after suddenly losing all my data on ssd with no explanation found, also talk about those fancy cpu coolers where no airflow towards the cpu vrm’s which are sufficiently cooled by the stock cooler.
or maybe just buy a prebuilt or a mac 😂😂😂
upgrading prebuilt pcs is an option once it starts to get old as well
but the longevity of a mac is insane
If you have a single ram stick you suck
If you have a bad PSU you suck
If you still have a HDD instead of a SSD you suck
What about us console players?
i have a SSD and a hardrive
Tbh, almost every serious gamer uses SSDs already.
"Laughs in quad channel and gen4 nvme"
I’m upgrading my 600W power supply after I get a new GPU. Gonna be upgrading to 1000W supply
btw I’m gay
Though I admit most of my PCs boot from SSDs, I don’t like them for boot drives as the constant Windows writes to the boot drive will probably make them wear out quicker. Also, big SSD’s are expensive, and it bugs the hell out of me when some programs install straight to the "C" drive without giving the option to install it on another drive.
Idk I currently have an ssd and a hard drive and I don’t really notice a difference. I’m not denying there is one, but when I’m gaming I’m not stressed out about time, so a 30 second load and a 60 second load isn’t something I’m worried about.
But that’s just me, I also can’t see a difference between 60hz and 144hz for example, same thing with 1080p to 1440p. Despite that I use a 1440p monitor lol
In some games and with certain processors dual channel can bring over 30% improvement
You didn’t remove the film from the RAM 👀👀
"Slightly"? It can make a massive difference in memory bandwidth intensive games
The problem I have is that all my stuff is on my hdd and I’m currently struggling to transfer it all to my ssd
Basic upgrade, buy a UPS.
