I love the one x. When I step down from 1080 TI to an Xbox one (in order to play a co op game with my console friends) , the one x is still pretty good!.. going from playing the same game on a 1080 ti to a one S is too painful though lol.

I have a surround sound system at home and I use it with my Xbox one X and 4K tv but I can’t get HDR. I can get 4K just fine but HDR seems to be missing.I don’t want to plug the HDMI cable straight to the tv because I also want the surround sound system to be featured when I play. Is there anyway I could bypass having to connect my Xbox straight to the tv for HDR? Thanks.

How to be a Sony Fanboy:
1- PS4 is sacred. is the best of the world, it has no flaws or issues. Anyone who states any PS4 lacking department or issues is a corporate slave paid by microsoft.
2- Excusives are everything and are the only games worth to play and the only reason to buy a console.
3- More quantity of Exclusives means better console.
4- Any game is superb as long as it is PS4 exclusive.
5- If an excellent exclusive game is later released on other consoles, is not good anymore.
6- If a game is multiplattform, is non-existent and not worth to play.
7- A true PS4 gamer only plays PS4 exclusives.
8- Backwards compatibility is a shit no one wants to play. But buying PS2/PS3 ports/remasters all over again is awesome.
9- Xbox has no games. all of them are on PC, therefore, they are automatically erased from Xbox.
10 – Better sales means you’ll enjoy more your gaming. PS4 is the most enjoyable gaming experience because is selling better.

I can see with some of your examples that the PS4 Pro version is more zoomed in than the X Box One X on some versions. I’m getting the X Box One X here soon but only for backwards compatibility while my PS 4 Pro will continue to remain my workhorse. Regardless of what you play, I hope everyone enjoys their gaming experience!

You know you’re scraping at the bottom of the barrel when you mention quantum break. This is coming from an xbox one x owner. Unless you like the assassins creed games(which I do not), the watchdog games( which I do not) the tombraider games(which I do not since I was already invested with uncharted series),the forza games (which I do not), the gears of war games (which I do not since that franchised got milked till its tits bled)Halo(which I do not), you’re pretty much shit out of luck.
I own a one x and the only games I bothered to purchase were Mafia 3(because I wanted the best version and best experience playing it since I found its concept interesting),Telltales walking dead season 3 and 4(again I wanted the best version and I know how bad Telltale games can perform from experiences last gen),Hitman(saw it going cheap and the 4k enhancements and hdr made me pick it up),Hellblade(believed in the hype and was underwhelmed didn’t even finish it),The late shift(because I thought it would of been in 4k on the one x) and RD2(again, I believed in the hype and thought it would of looked much better than the ps4 version. The game did not impress me until the hdr adjustment patch they released much later down the line) and that was the last game I played on my one X and that was probably way back in April. Haven’t touched my one x since. RD2 was a one and done, for me. Since playing that game I’ve played Horizon zero dawn and the frozen wilds 4 times back to back and the next game I’m looking to purchase is not for my xbox one x.LOL.
I’m so glad that my one x was free since I traded the free phone that came with my q9fn for it and still got cash on top. I definitely won’t be buying an Xbox next gen. So much for being the most powerful console in the world. What good are those claims if it doesn’t even have much games or games that everyone would want to play. Say what you want about sony, they have a game or collection of games for every gamer. You pretty much have to be a fan of Forza, Halo or the overly milked 3rd party franchises like assasins creed and call of duty to fully appreciate Microsoft’s gaming consoles because of their lack of exclusives.
That’s the problem when you over hype a console. "Best console in the world". A bold claim. If you give a console that mantle it has to blow everyone’s mind. I found the one x underwhelming because of its mantle. I didn’t think it lived up to it, even visually. Games on my ps4 pro typically look better on my 55 inch q9fn than they do with my one x because the ps4 pro works better with my tv and hears why. Out of the gate it handled hdr better, giving me a more balanced image with less crush and now, since the firmware patch that included the HDR adjustment so you can tailor make your ps4 pro’s HDR specific to your individual TV, the uniformity and picture’s balance is phenomenal. Even my older games have a new lease of life and look like remasters because they pop so much more and have so much more depth and highlights. Playing HZD after the patch update blew my mind because the changes brought astonishing details such as the moonlight bouncing of Aloy’s cheek. It’s details like that that remind you why you upgraded to an expensive flagship television. Now I feel like I’m playing current gen games. I didn’t feel so impressed playing Mafia 3 in native 4k with my one x or even RD2. My best looking xbox one x game doesn’t look as good as my ps4 pro games because the pro calibrated the games better for my tv than the one x does. Unless microsoft release a similar patch to what Sony have I cant see myself touching my one x again.
Wow, it’s fucken crazy the difference it has over the XB1. It’s just a shame that it took them 3 attempts to hopefully get it right this time, if they end up getting some good games then they may actually outdo Sony. I’ve got the X and am enjoying it so far but the only thing it excels at is making a huge difference in certain last gen titles, I hope that changes soon.. Is there a reason why the standard XB1 can’t run these last gen games like Oblivion so much better than the 360 did? Unless the 360 was really damn poor it seems like they’re choosing not to enhance them for the standard XB1 as a way to get their fans to buy their 3rd attempt in this same gen of consoles.
Hi there, just wanted to bring my views about oneX enhanced games, as I could carefully compare some ps4 pro VS oneX games (owning both). I had better 3rd party games experiences on ps4 pro, despite a small visual resolution advantage for onex, from what I’ve played so far:
– Evil within 2, thanks to far better framerate targeting 60fps on ps4 pro
– Wolfenstein new colossus: frame pacing on oneX and distracting textures/edges glitches when moving camera
– Mafia 3: more stutters on oneX, more glitches, and screen freezing bugs during cinematics preventing form watching it! a shame
– Regarding some other games, no differences (ex Marvel vs capcom infinite) or barely noticeable graphic advantage for oneX: COD ww2
– some games offer a better overall experience on oneX: Rise of tomb raider, Hitman
Finally, Quantum break (microsoft exclusive) is a shame on oneX, a glitching shadows mess with the latest patch.
>> As a conclusion, oneX is rather a disappointment for me, I was expecting better experiences for all enhanced games VS ps4 pro, and was really enthusiast about Quantum Break, which I had to stop playing, waiting Remedy to quickly fix this mess.

Gears of War 4 is horrible and so boring. I wish they would enhance Elite Sniper 4 and Rainbow Six Siege.

I’m sorry, but I own a one x and I think this list is shit. Nothing on this list would of made me want to chose this console over the ps4 pro. The Main reason I chose to get a one x in addition to my ps4 pro was to play a few titles I believed would of ran better(RD2,walking dead season 3 and 4, hellblade and mafia 3) and I didn’t have to pay for my xbox since I got it as a result of my free promotional gift with my qled tv. My one x just gathers dust now. No lie. The one x is all hype. Nothing on there impressed me as much as HZD after the ps4 pro latest patch update. I definitely won’t be getting another microsoft console next gen. I don’t trust the company.
I just sold my ps4 pro to get an Xbox one X. Yes some of the games may be exclusive to ps4 but the community is mainly on Xbox and Xbox live is better then PlayStations network

Ok… So some of this is nonsense. I have a one X, so it’s not that I am a Sony fan boy, but Ark is nowhere near as good as PC (unless you have an old outdated PC)
Many games look better than the one, but only mildly better than the pro in most cases. A few rare cases it will excel, but not that many.
It’s still a beast, but let’s not oversell it
