I recently purchased the Oster Convection Oven. It’s larger than most and very versatile. I use the convention bake the most. I tried the defrost feature and was pleasantly surprised when it defrosted my meat without cooking/burning the edges. I use it more than my oven.

I purchased an Oster oven at walmart today based on your review of their other model and I am so glad I did. Excellent product, very spacious. Our food keeps coming out hot, juicy, and thoroughly cooked. I highly recommend the Oster brand of toaster ovens

Can toaster ovens be recalibrated? At 350° the temp is really 550°. I obliterated some sweet potatoes. They were burnt to s cripy crunch in 20 minutss. I have searched and searched and cannot find an answer.

  21. Evil Hutdug on January 22, 2021 at 8:30 pm

haha I use it for heating bread cuz I dont have a toaster

    mines also big-ish

  22. Alara Hillton on January 22, 2021 at 8:36 pm

What was the last one? That seems like it was marvelous. I just bought one on sale from Macy’s made by Hamilton beach. I already had a credit and it was on sale. The thing I thought was something I’d like to try was that this one has a rotisserie. I just tried some frozen fries and they were not crispy enough….baked on tray. The unit I bought is the HB countertop convection and rotisserie, model 31104D. I wish it had a recipe booklet. When I google how to do convection it’s clear as mud. I also made a quiche today. If you could review this that would be great. And also the HB keep -warm long slot toaster.thanks.

Does any of them have an insulated cabinet, like a range oven? I returned a Calphalon quartz toaster oven because the outer cabinet temp would get blazingly hot. It was an unsafe burn hazard.

    great reviews , thank you

baseless statements no demonstrations? needs improvement!

  27. Hawg Dawg on January 22, 2021 at 8:41 pm

While currently living in a fifth wheel until our building is completed, my wife and I just bought the Calphalon Quartz Countertop Oven: First meal baked was boneless, skinless, chicken breasts. Since we have to watch our wattage so as not to trip a breaker or place unnecessary demand on the electrical system, we baked in the bake pan provided for 45 minutes at 350 degrees. Then, I pulled out the pan, took the foil off and put it back in for 12 minutes. The breasts turned out beautifully. We paid $159.00, plus tax at Costco. We’re off to a good start.

Confused cuz I typed in "Convection Microwave over" and this came up. This is not a microwave, but a toaster over.

  39. Ian on January 22, 2021 at 9:01 pm

Dude you write really good reviews, pretty impressed with the amount of detail and research you put in, its very helpful for someone who actually wants to be educated about a product.

  40. God_Laughs _At_Atheists on January 22, 2021 at 9:01 pm

I’m leaning towards the Oster large capacity convection toaster oven from Walmart… $77.48.

  41. TwerkToSpec on January 22, 2021 at 9:02 pm

Great review. They took all the available information, and put it in order and made it easier to understand

  42. zena robinson on January 22, 2021 at 9:03 pm

    bruVEEEEL! hahaha!!

  43. litestreamer on January 22, 2021 at 9:03 pm

The issue here is the reviews mostly go off the manufacturer blurbs. Toaster ovens must be tested over time to see how they perform. Many fail after 1-4 years, even the more costly ones. All are made in China. None of them come with long term full warranties. Be sure to read all the amazon reviews when considering models, and the model you choose fits within your home space with enough clearance too.

  44. Ducame Aly on January 22, 2021 at 9:06 pm

The Panasonic looks GREAT. That’s my pick.

  45. jane a sinner on January 22, 2021 at 9:07 pm

This is just read of the manufacturers description. Do any of these actually hold the temperature at the temperature set? This is something you have to know. You need to actually test them out, over a period of time. But, it’s good for the knowledge to know what the features are of these particular brands.
