Thanks for the video. I have this question. Will any French door refrig fit in an opening that is width 39 in, height 68 in, depth 32 1/2 in.. I can remove the cabinet above the current opening to take care of a 70 inch. But what about when the door is open at 90°? Will it fit within the 39" opening?

Thank you for this video, it was very helpful. I would caution everyone about buying the LG fridge tho. The same week my 6yo LG broke down, LG announced a class action lawsuit settlement on their compressors. That was the problem with my fridge too, but it was a couple weeks of Customer Service Hell and $135 to find out that it also needed a new control board that is no longer manufactured. LG could not tell me how many MONTHS is would take to get that. Your video just confirmed for me (along with other articles) that the Whirlpool is the best buy.
I just ordered the Whirlpool and it will be delivered in 2 days. It seems to rate high on most reviews.

anyway, I went with 28CuFt Samsung with non-smart water and ice dispenser and no screen (but dual right side door) for $2000 with 5-year protection plan from HD.
I expect a refrigerator to be trouble free and last over 20 years. I have 2 over 30 year old refrigerators that have been trouble free and still looks new since purchased. Due to all the complaints and short lived expensive computer boards, I am really tempted to just replace parts when that time comes. Same with washing machines. Will not buy a new one when the older models actually cleans my clothes. Try rinsing an article of clothing in sink after washing with the new washers to see all the dirt left in it. When manufactures start standing behind their products, producing quality, dependable appliances again, then will consider buying…until then, no thanks, they can keep their crap they try to fool us into buying.
My Kenmore Elite (LG) was trashed by the compressor issue after 6 years. Even with warranty covering the labor the cost to fix it was minimum $1300. Never buying LG again.

I’m shocked the Samsung refrigerator is on here. They all leak…ALL OF THEM. Its a known problem, and requires YOU to fix it, which doesn’t all qork.
I don’t think there is a refrigerator made that the ice maker isn’t a problem. Instead of putting camera’s in the refrigerator, how about developing an ice maker that actually works more than a month. Get the My Pillow guy to help you refrigerator manufacturers.
No kitchen aid for the first place!! That is the main reason I’m checking reviews. The ice maker and freezer are not working 😡!
