    I just got the TCL 6 series and it has a fantastic picture. This is a bedroom tv for me as I use a LG OLED for my movie theater tv. But I wouldn’t mind the TCL as a main HT tv either.

    I thought this was a budget tv video but it turned out to be a super low end tv video. Anything under $1500 is bottom of the barrel and if that’s where you live your just low end all around.

    Any LG LCD TV utilizing their IPS screens represent some of the worst contrast ratios in the industry. It is not recommended at any price.

    Great video. The whiners saying“these are not low budget TVs” (title of this video is Best Budget) are not looking for a decent tv or watch as a guide and wait until a sale. (They are the one’s better served by going to the secondary market of used TVs). Heck they can’t understand the title of this video. Best Budget TVs are priced $599 – $999 (this tv is right in there for a 65”) and mid-priced $1000 to $3000. After that then you don’t ask because you don’t have the expendable income to buy as they are $3200 – $6000 and on up to $60,000.00. Best Budget isn’t $300, that’s junk that no one wants, old tech that no one is buying, only price driven you don’t buy online without seeing in person. The whiners don’t need a You Tube presentation for that. Just go and look for yourself, check what money is in your pocket…price first…and stand there complaining the picture isn’t any good or the low priced one is too small. Again great job. I already put the LG SM8600 in my store cart and will just watch for the next upcoming holiday sale and then click “buy now”. Great pick on the LG. You narrowed it down perfectly as the selection is huge. This is a lot of tv for the price. I’ll get it for $650 +/- a few bucks.

    Whatever you do, don’t buy a LG. Awful picture compared to any Samsung and the Game mode still offers too much lag, I get 8ms lag on my budget Samsung TU8000, perfect for gaming and with auto motion plus turned off is amazing for movies and TV shows.
