Period costume drama with modern music is the worst.

    ”Fantastic” choice of music.

  10. SD G on July 4, 2021 at 3:00 am

Vanity Fair was so good and Olivia Cooke is amazing as usual. I hate the fact that it did not garner the publicity it so richly deserves

  14. cascade on July 4, 2021 at 3:06 am

I get the impression they took a lot of liberties with the book…

  15. Kea Michelle on July 4, 2021 at 3:07 am

Appauling casting and directing! Reese W … really?? Total and utter pile of crap. Waste of time.

  19. Lelia Katalnikova on July 4, 2021 at 3:12 am

  20. Carolina Tobar on July 4, 2021 at 3:15 am

  21. edgeeffect on July 4, 2021 at 3:15 am

Looks good… well as long as that awful "cock-rock" is only in the preview… not the actual production.

  22. Eu Sei on July 4, 2021 at 3:16 am

A Regency story with modern music? I don’t think so!

  23. that coffee feel on July 4, 2021 at 3:18 am

Such a good period drama after such a long time

  24. Christina Gordon on July 4, 2021 at 3:21 am

Remember I watched the film with Reese Witherspoon years ago and she was far better that this tv series 👌

  25. Симона Манчева on July 4, 2021 at 3:24 am

That was so good….. I was shocked

  26. Michele Hood on July 4, 2021 at 3:31 am

Based on one of my favorite novels of all time – and it does NOT disappoint! Fantastic cast (and Olivia Cook is perfectly cast as the cunning, beautiful and amoral Becky Sharp). Is she a villain or just a scrappy and realistic woman of her time, with a handsome but feckless husband, who did what she had to in order to survive? Superior to the Reese Witherspoon film, trust me. Fantastic television!

This music was better used on our girl but not this

  29. Daniel Gardecki on July 4, 2021 at 3:39 am

Another British show that has fuck all to do with *Amazon, Netflix* or *Hulu,* yet they keep trying to take the credit.
This is an *ITV* show, made by *ITV* and 1st broadcast on *ITV.*

  30. Edmond&Mercedes on July 4, 2021 at 3:39 am

    another amazing portray!!!
really i can not wait for watcv this one, over all for Stein/Becky interaction.

  31. Michael Boylan on July 4, 2021 at 3:40 am

You know there used to be a time when they used actors to play the characters in movies, Wasnt that a weird idea ? Vanity Fair is a fantastic tenth rate novel, I bet this movie is just as good

  32. Andre Suston on July 4, 2021 at 3:40 am

Could someone explain to me what was the point of Becky moving to Matildas house for
"the come up" only to marry the man she kept dodging at his fathers house? The same man who has no money, no skill, no real standing, and they end up running out on landlords because they don’t have the rent.

  33. Set Fire to the Whole Damn House on July 4, 2021 at 3:42 am

a remake of the Reese Witherspoon movie? haven’t seen it but I read g He book

    anyone know the background music?

  34. always outlawed on July 4, 2021 at 3:43 am

    LOVED IT!
Usually hate "funky" and "modern" period dramas, but it was an amazing rollercoaster

  35. KrissMGvlogs on July 4, 2021 at 3:44 am

I enjoyed this series, even with the strangely loud and modern music, but I will now read the book. I have a feeling lots was lost in translation.

  36. dxmx o on July 4, 2021 at 3:46 am

Watched it..Loved it …Hope for a second season..Love Historical Period Dramas

  37. Alienòr d'Aquitània on July 4, 2021 at 3:46 am

Although the plot did seem at times a bit scattered, it overall produced a very modern and exhilarating atmosphere. Imagine the all the most exciting parts of all your favorite dramas packed into 8 episodes.
