sir or anyone reading. 8 inch tablets are nice and all if thats what you need. i can see the uses for them. personally though i have the samsung tab a7 sm-t500. 10.4 inch. kinda wish i could afford the more expensive tab s7 but im very happy with my product. really the only reason i want the more expensive s7 is to get a 128gb and more ram. and the amoled. though i dont put my personal files, music and photos stuff like that on my tablet storage but instead on the micro sd card. so its mainly for taking photos keeping documents and downloading whatever without running out of space and for holding my app and system data.

My only complain with the Tab A is the poor battery life and constant lag. I only recommend this tab pure for entertainment purpose such as browsing

Sent my Amazon Fire back – to log into different kindle accounts you have to de register the device ( prime in my case ) and then log in with a different account – no prime, no advantages unless you pay for prime on two accounts? Good for the kids in the back of the car! Bought Samsung.

It sucks there’s no Android tablet with a high PPI being sold in the US.

  16. E TV on January 23, 2021 at 8:17 pm

Good thing you didn’t pick ipad mini as number one as that would have really annoyed me..a device that apple deliberately doesn’t want to put a sd micro slot on them. I don’t understand why people are still accepting this non sense and wasting their money on bigger memory capacity.

Please could you let me know if the image quality of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8 is the same as the Lenova Tab 8 HD, I can see that they have the same spec screens but the image and apps on the home screen of the Samsung looks washed out.

  22. BgBO55 on January 23, 2021 at 8:24 pm

Don’t know how the king of 8" tablets, Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet didn’t even get a mention. Release in 2014 still never missed a beat. Certain components could do with an upgrade tbf

  23. Lemon Tree on January 23, 2021 at 8:26 pm

My main use for this tablet would be Youtube at night in bed. So the most important 3 factors would be:
    1. No PWM at 0% brightness
    2. Stereo speakers on both sides
    3. Price

Sadly you didn’t include any of this information. Please do this in the future.

  37. Has Goodles on January 23, 2021 at 8:42 pm

Here’s what I want in an 8" tablet. Battery. Working lightning ports forever. Working 3.5mm aux ports forever, or suitable alternative not used as power supply jack. I want it to run fast. Take good photos. Don’t care about a damn pencil, and I’m an artist, by the way. Too costly. The end.

Ipad mini 5 is the best

  45. First Last on January 23, 2021 at 8:53 pm

As for this guy recommending the Amazon tablet.
"Sturdy"? No. Out of the three I bought, two of them have broken glass and two have broken charge ports.
I baby my devices but Amazon tablets are extremely cheap and extremely fragile.
It also uses a 5 year old Android 5 OS. So many apps will not be compatible even if you install the Google Play Store.

  46. Jeremy Bartram on January 23, 2021 at 8:55 pm

Can any of these be used as a phone? And not using an app – I mean using the same sim card and phone number as my current Pixel phone, and just dial numbers like any normal smartphone would?

  50. Marc S on January 23, 2021 at 9:00 pm

Hey Andrzej, which 8-inch tablet would you recommend for the following… I mainly want the tablet to read books to me where I can follow the text and take notes and create bookmarks. I don’t think Kindel does this or has this option. I’m not an Apple user so doesn’t need to be an iPad. I’m based in the US, if that matters. Thank you in advance for your help and suggestion.
