#Netflix #BreakingBad #GameOfThrones
I would say sense 8
For ppl looking for new series, here’s a list
– true detective (season 1)
– when they see us
– mare of easttown
– schitts creek
– peaky blinders
im just here to see if this channel at least mentioned community, i’m glad it did.
So, the US ‘Office’ is better than the original? Alrighty then rofl. No Band of Brothers? Battlestar Gallactica is better than Band of Brothers rofl. Seen some bad Mojo lists before, this is just garbage.
What do you think is the best show of the century so far?!
How is animated not scripted. This makes no sense
Dexter? Why its not a The list.
Where is The walking dead?
24 should definitely be in top 10… not even honorable mention?
I noticed that the rating on IMDb for a show is a rating given as a whole and not the average rating of all the episodes as I always thought it was. So, me being me, I added up every episode rating and divided it by the number of episodes to get an average and it makes for a very interesting read. I only looked at the following shows and ranked them from highest to lowest.
– Breaking Bad: 9.03 (62 episodes)
– Mr. Robot: 9.01 (45 episodes)
– Better Call Saul: 8.86 (50 episodes)
– The Leftovers: 8.86 (28 episodes)
– Game of Thrones: 8.83 (73 episodes)
– Peaky Blinders: 8.81 (30 episodes)
– The Sopranos: 8.70 (86 episodes)
– The Wire: 8.68 (60 episodes)
– Mad Men: 8.48 (92 episodes)
Breaking Bad had a rating of 9.43 for its final season (16 episodes) and is the only series with an episode rated 10/10 (Ozymandias). Mr. Robot had a rating of 9.32 for its final season (13 episodes). Game of Thrones had an average of 9.06 if we exclude the final season. The final season of Game of Thrones had an average of 6.33 (6 episodes).
I’ve excluded Chernobyl as this is a miniseries with only 5 episodes and should rather be compared to shows like Band of Brothers, The Pacific, etc. However, one of the best shows that I’ve watched with an average rating of 9.60 across the 5 episodes.
Shows set in the U.S are somewhat overhyped, over advertised and overrated. They do make great movies though.
Wheres The Walking Dead
Your viseos= waste of time
No Twin Peaks
I get your list with some really good shows, therein, but, how could you completely ignore 24. Not only was the premise of everything performed in actual time original, but it drove the whole show. It also revolves around a truly heroic, yet tragic protagonist. Jack Ayer is the absolute best character ever created. And he was much deeper than the casual observer ever recognized. He was truly sacrificial, always willing to give up his own life for others (Although he lost everyone he ever loved, because of it). He made tough, excruciating decisions between impossible choices and he had to live with those choices. And, loyalty? This was a character who would give up his life for his friends. The way the series left off, he is now rotting in a Russian prison in exchange for the freedom of, probably, his best friend, Chloe O’Brien.
With the help of this show and American Idol, Fox took over as the best American TV network. Actors and actresses begged to be on this show and, at a time when our nation needed it (Immediately after 9/11), 24 provided the medicine. Despite the evil of terrorist ideas, one dedicated man and his compatriots could triumph and keep us all safe and free. Was it a perfect show, no, but, not only is it the best television show of the 2000’s, it is the best show of all-time,
24 will always be my favorite, but I forgot the 2nd best show I’ve seen. Stargate SG1 had everything a sci-fi series needs including Richard Dean Anderson’s witty sarcastic humor and some very interesting personal tastes incorporated into the show. For instance, multiple times he expressed his attraction to Mary Steenburgen. He incorporated his love of the Simpsons by using many references to the show and even going so far as to use Dan Castelleneta (the voice of Homer Simpson) as a lead character in an episode. The show also employed an actor I graduated with, in a couple of episodes. Finally despite their differences, there is a rather long list of characters in SG1 who also appeared in 24, the biggest of which is Michael Shanks.
The Americans is the most underrated show probably ever
Ozark
All American
Snowfall
You
The Blacklist
For Life
Godfather Of Harlem
Fargo
My favourite show is the walking dead
12monkeys,Dark,Mr.Robot,Prison break
The Sopranos is rightfully #1
Game of thrones
Dark
Squid Game
Friends
Breaking Bad
Twin Peaks
Prison Break
Westworld
Stranger Things
Peaky Blinders
It’s incredible how a channel whose only purpose is to make lists can fail so hard on every single one of them.
Watching the video I was expecting Glee to be their number one. That was horrible.
How is the walking dead not even an honourable mention!!!!
I know this is an American centric list and there’s definitely some of the greatest TV series ever made on this list.
But I think there should be some love for a few British TV shows on this list. Peaky Blinders, Sherlock, and Life on Mars are definitely worthy of a mention.
Walking dead lol
Deadwood is the best show of all time.
You forgot 24 with Jack Bauer is top 5 or better
Where the fuck is himym?
Should ve atleast been an honourable mention
The Office?
Most of the series in this list I have ever heard, I would say, dark, sense 8 should be in the list
