What a terrible year for games, and it seems like 90% of the most anticipated games that were supposed to be released this year have been postponed until ’22. I guess that’s one bright spot, as depressing as it’s been on the gaming front, next year should be one of the best years in gaming history.
I’m a dark souls guy, I love challenging games. That being said, I wouldn’t recommend returnal. It’s way to repetitive, if it was a $10 or $20 game I’d say go for it. But it’s like a simple arcade shooter, not worth the money. You will be hooked at first but as soon as you start something else you wont be drawn back to it. To bad too, I would have liked to see how the story ends

As a kid playing Atari, C64 and cheap knock off games, using my imagination to fill in the blanks that graphics and computing just couldn’t meet. I’d often dream about and talk about how amazing future games might become as technology advanced… and if I’m being honest Powerwash Simulator didn’t come up as much as you might have thought.

Mass Effect, the remaster is long overdue and the first story looks great with an overhaul. One of the best sci fi gaming sagas out there.
Valheim is another gem, when it first hit Steam, was hooked and had a server with friends, which made it all the more endearing, so many hours lost. It’s a shame that the devs took so long with the first doc, as it lost some fans because of those delays. Otherwise, such a fun game!

The only reason I’ve yet to try Valhiem, is because I keep hearing that it isn’t a game meant to play solo. Can anyone on here recommend it as a good solo experience?
