  8. Zac Ritner on January 11, 2022 at 3:44 pm

What about Cris Tales? It’s such a charming and whimsical RPG coming from Columbia. I feel like this game has flown under the radar from most gamers.

  9. DogSi Notpalc on January 11, 2022 at 3:44 pm

Damn it! I keep accidentally clicking WatchMojo videos, instead of the intended (and superior) "What Culture Gaming" videos

  10. hakatom on January 11, 2022 at 3:45 pm

    very phenomenal

  12. RetroJ77 on January 11, 2022 at 3:49 pm

Lost In Random looks like a game that could have been made by Tim Burton, and Kena: Bridge of Spirits looks like a Triple A game even though it was made by a small publishing company. Both are great games.

  13. Shanpatrick Baker on January 11, 2022 at 3:51 pm

I only agree with some of this list…So, 7/10. Make a list more to my personal preferances and I will give you a better score, your welcome, my treat.

  14. KurageDaisuki on January 11, 2022 at 3:54 pm

Before Your Eyes better be number 1.

  15. Zero Accountability on January 11, 2022 at 3:55 pm

Unsighted looks a lot like Hyper Light Drifter.

  16. RDJ 134 on January 11, 2022 at 3:56 pm

  20. Jorge Adair Ramos on January 11, 2022 at 4:02 pm

    Impgenial

  21. Odorumomo on January 11, 2022 at 4:02 pm

Shin Subarashiki Kono Sekai (NEO: The World Ends With You) was one of the absolute best games this year!

  22. DJGamingSmash on January 11, 2022 at 4:02 pm

I know all of these already.

  23. Aetium Alighieri on January 11, 2022 at 4:03 pm

does anyone know what the game is that plays from 0:14 to 0:21? it doesn’t have a title and it looks interesting

  24. John Bazan on January 11, 2022 at 4:07 pm

Man JRPGs do not get enough attention in the west. Here is some JRPG gems that came out in 2021:
    Caligula Effect 2
    Cris Tales
    YS IX Monstrum Nox
    Mary Skelter Finale
    Blue Reflection Second Light
    Atelier Ryza 2
Neo The World Ends With You
Poison Control (very niche I enjoyed it but some wont)

  25. AlexArken on January 11, 2022 at 4:09 pm

So hype Unsighted’s getting more recognition. My indie of the year

  26. ozmega on January 11, 2022 at 4:09 pm

  27. Jordan Simpson on January 11, 2022 at 4:13 pm

OK I know it’s a Nov 6 2020 release but Dysmantle needs more love and a console release.

  28. Mark Cabaniss on January 11, 2022 at 4:14 pm

_Balan Wonderworld_ . That is all.

    *Mic drop.*

  29. KajiCarson on January 11, 2022 at 4:15 pm

    Deltarune Chapter Two was good!

  30. T. Clark II on January 11, 2022 at 4:15 pm

Little Nightmares 2? It deserves WAY more praise than it received.

  31. Scorpionstrike7 on January 11, 2022 at 4:15 pm

I feel like Poppy’s Playtime should be an honorable mention

  32. Lee Okami on January 11, 2022 at 4:15 pm

i think im over pixel graphics at this point

  33. Tommy Gray on January 11, 2022 at 4:19 pm

What about Mind Scanners? A spiritual successor to Papers Please, this game is about performing puzzles to cure people mentally.

  34. Romnys Gonzalez on January 11, 2022 at 4:19 pm

A group of mods did a better job creating a game than Bethetsda since Skyrim.

I would add Dodgeball Academia, Beyore your eyes,Chicory: A Colorful tale and Psychonauts 2 because honestly… this game didn’t receive the amount of attention they deserved for what they just created. To everyone out there, if you haven’t play Psychonauts 2 please do because you’re missing out of the most unique, original, fresh and visually astonishing games ever.

Ruined King: A League of Legend Story. A really underrated game than everyone outside of the League of Legend audience ignored completely

  36. David Meyer on January 11, 2022 at 4:19 pm

I played The Forgotten City when it was a mod for Skyrim, and it was good, but nothing special. If it made a list like this, they must have overhauled it completely.

  37. MaddestMike on January 11, 2022 at 4:19 pm

Everhood exists because we never truly got Geno in Smash or a Super Mario RPG sequel.

  38. lightning bones on January 11, 2022 at 4:22 pm

it’s pronounced rej-ee… I mean the say it a lot in the game… did any of you play it by chance?

  39. Lightphaser on January 11, 2022 at 4:22 pm

Good list! It could have been easily extended to a top 20…

  40. Johnjohn42 Kudi on January 11, 2022 at 4:22 pm

    Liked and am watching!

  41. DracoNick on January 11, 2022 at 4:23 pm

  42. J McClan on January 11, 2022 at 4:24 pm

  45. Alan Deli on January 11, 2022 at 4:27 pm

And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: (Hebrews 9:27)
I also will choose their delusions, and will bring their fears upon them; because when I called, none did answer; when I spake, they did not hear: but they did evil before mine eyes, and chose that in which I delighted not. (Isaiah 66:4)
And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. (Revelation 20:15)
I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish. (Luke 13:5)

  46. Kodyjay on January 11, 2022 at 4:31 pm

Ah yes. Hidden gems. Such as the one you started off with that was played by Markiplier, one of the largest content creators, for the last few weeks. What more should I have expected from Watch Mojo though.

  47. Jezze on January 11, 2022 at 4:32 pm

Your radar must be broken if you haven’t at least heard of most of these games, and many in this list have received a lot of attention. You can call them gems, but not hidden gems.

  48. Sir. Jebach on January 11, 2022 at 4:32 pm

    Tf?
Sorry but i think Inscryption deserves to be higher in the list

  49. Unknown MSA on January 11, 2022 at 4:33 pm

Inscryption is a masterpiece and should be 1

  50. SHARQ on January 11, 2022 at 4:36 pm
