I bought the Sony X800H or X80h. Will have it installed in two weeks time. LG and Samsung were considered but in the end my wife and I liked the Sony. It all.comes down to personal preference and what you are going to use it for.

Got a question will I get just as good watching TCL 4K LED TV since most content and broadcast are in 1080p or lower even worst netflix needs an expansive subscription just to watch a few content in 4k and most of their movies qre just upscaleing to 4k cause there are no movies mastered in 4k. Also when streaming iptv most are in1080p. You also need a 12 bit panel to watch real dolbyvision not the current TV in the stores are selling now with only 8bit panels. My question now is it really worth your hard earn money to buy an OLED TV or just settle with 4K LED TV which is so much more cheaper ?

  19. Novaximus on December 22, 2020 at 12:20 am

what about longevity? I have/had a samsung that’s only 4 years old. Because I left it on all day I suppose eventually something overheated and just gave me a black screen. This is just poor quality imo. A tv should last more than 4 years no matter how good or bad the picture is or other fancy features.

  20. Jelsick on December 22, 2020 at 12:24 am

I had a LG plasma tv that burned up after 4 years. My 15 year old Samsung plasma is still working good. Don’t know about LG….. Roll of the dice i guess.

  23. BC on December 22, 2020 at 12:27 am

I sacked TV 17 years ago and haven’t looked back. It’s been all online consumption on PC monitor or mobile ever since. Very little broadcast but quite alot YT and movies.

  24. Black Sync on December 22, 2020 at 12:28 am

My Sony 34" CRT TV from 2006 is turning pink, so it’s time for an upgrade. Sadly, I still have to consider VIEWING ANGLES before buying an LCD/LED model, even all these years after CRT went bye-bye. OLED is still too pricey, and there are so many details and tech to keep in mind. How will I ever decide?! My DSL is slow, and I wonder whether there’ll be any HDR, or even 4K, content I’d be able to watch at all. Anyway, thanks for the vid.

  30. john ryder on December 22, 2020 at 12:39 am

as long as my picture HD I’m ok

  31. boyan bagus on December 22, 2020 at 12:39 am

Hi with all the hype about oled TV but with no 4k broadcasting and limited 4k movies from Netflix that needs an expensive premium subscribers, and most movies wasn’t shoot and mastered in 4k they just upscale it to 4k, a real 4k signal will never be the same as what we are watching now on TV, also inorder to enjoy dolbyvision you need a 12 bit panel to get real dolbyvision, My question is it really worth the hard earn money to get an oled TV or should I just buy a 4k led TV ?

  32. Saul Belford on December 22, 2020 at 12:40 am
