    newegg, for those wanting a larger monitor, 32" LG UltraGear Gaming 2K monitor. Under $500 USD. Me no see thousands of people running out to buy an ultrawide monitor for $1250 USD. Hell I’d rather spend a little more and get a 65" OLED and game from that, and have another out from my GPU go to a 27" or 32" typical monitor that doesn’t cost very much.

    If I’m a laptop buyer and can wait, I’d wait til next year’s shopping season and buy a Zen 2 powered laptop because the performance bump is substantial. If I needed to buy something now, I’d get something cheap ($400) and then sell it when I can buy a Zen 2 model. There’s too much of a performance bump going from a Zen+ APU to a Zen2 APU to settle on something like a 3700U powered laptop. And it’s not just performance; it’s also a lower powered part.

    The best CPU deal right now at newegg is probably the Ryzen 2600 selling at $145 or the 2700X selling around $215. If you have to buy a MB to support the CPU, you can get a B550 for the Zen+ CPU, and then when Zen3 goes on sale in a year from now, buy a 5600, 5700X or 5800X depending on your needs. Yes, two of those CPUs don’t exist at the moment, but at least one of those will next year.

    picking up an i9-9900k for my new build from microcenter for only $300. was gonna go with amd but couldnt resist when i saw this deal. gonna pair it with a scythe fuma 2, thanks to your review a while back. also found 32gbs of ddr4 3600 ram for $120, im pretty sure thats a good deal.
