  2. Patrick Pereira Vieira on November 19, 2021 at 11:30 am

For a video on microphones, you’d think they would do something to reduce the echo….

  3. Hello Meat Robots on November 19, 2021 at 11:32 am

Everyone who watched this video is dumber now.

  4. Mahesh Walatara on November 19, 2021 at 11:38 am

Doesn’t test the most important thing- sound quality- totally useless video.

  5. Chase Lancaster on November 19, 2021 at 11:38 am

  8. Milan Lilić on November 19, 2021 at 11:43 am

    XLR to USB? HUH??
Phantom Power to this mic isn’t needed UNLESS you’re using a FetAmp/Cloudlifter

  11. Gabriel Tobing on November 19, 2021 at 11:46 am

The Verge PC guy got hired by IGN to do a mic video?

  12. Papa Sugar on November 19, 2021 at 11:46 am

Honestly didn’t hear a difference at the end 😅

  13. Bill Stewart on November 19, 2021 at 11:48 am

You can’t use Phantom Power with an SM7B. Phantom Power is for condensers. Way to get everything wrong. This video is terrible.

  14. Jonathan Mikkelsen on November 19, 2021 at 11:48 am

You should make videos with 4k quality.

  15. Samuel AR on November 19, 2021 at 11:49 am

    The Verge PTSD flashbacks…

  16. KOS Prime on November 19, 2021 at 11:49 am

This is an absolute fking useless video and just shows that ign knows fk all about audio. The quadcast is propably the worst 100$ usb mic, and don’t even bother talking the SM7B cause you clearly don’t know what ur talking about

  17. POP SHEPSKI on November 19, 2021 at 11:49 am

    That SHURE sounds YEAHHHHH

NOBODY ever shows how to play games ( keaybaord+mouse or console handcontroller sounds) and how to position your mic for not having to spend hours in audio editing.

often your handcontroller is audible when you speak into the mic even with a noise reduction on.

  20. AxTrend on November 19, 2021 at 11:54 am

wait wait wait wait, so you tell me that dynamic mics needs phantom power and condenser mics don’t??? REALLY??

  21. Pilot on November 19, 2021 at 11:55 am

Man, there’s so much wrong here. How can a microphone comparison video where the narration audio sounds like garbage carry any credibility?

  22. Void Eauioa on November 19, 2021 at 11:55 am

maybe review a tonor tc 777

  23. m favian h on November 19, 2021 at 11:56 am

This reminds me of The Verge’s pc building vid. Please dont just read the back of the box and actually ask a professional.
