Best not to use vegetable oils like sunflower oil or olive oil as these oils will go rancid. Grape seed oil and food grade mineral oil will work though if you can’t get kitchen timber oil.

I have started to use you as my primary influencer for product suggestions. You haven’t steered me wrong yet. Any chance you could make an Amazon gear page for your followers across the pond as many times your Amazon suggestions take us to Amazon England, not Amazon.com

Where did you get the lower cabinet semi circle shelf?

  5. Steven Staley on May 10, 2021 at 6:06 am

This is fantastic. I was trying to figure out the best combination of words to search for to get to some type of minimalist kitchen essentials guide and you nailed it.

  6. alex hebert on May 10, 2021 at 6:06 am

This is a video of an architect (and terrible chef) explaining how he lives with a small kitchen. If you’ve come here for cooking advice, you’re in the wrong place! But hopefully the products in the video will help save some of your cupboard space for baked beans and Oreos… 🙃

  7. Moments with Matthew on May 10, 2021 at 6:07 am

I absolutely LOVE the pans and saucepans with the removable handles. That is brilliant.

  8. kavonlea on May 10, 2021 at 6:09 am

  13. natchos m on May 10, 2021 at 6:19 am

Just to clarify, if you want to keep your knives sharp, a honing steel does NOT sharpen. It only makes the blade straight. And I can tell that it’s not doing any sharpening from how much pressure you have to put on the food items to make a cut. A sharpening stone will sharpen.

  27. IIKHALAII on May 10, 2021 at 6:35 am

my first thought when i saw the kitchen was are they going to remodel?

  28. A H on May 10, 2021 at 6:37 am

Minimalismus is indeed an amazing movement aka life style. It has so many benefits like space saving, being less materialistic and environment friendly. People with tight budget like me can have a beautiful home without possesing so many items. One the reasons why people have small spaces is having a very tight budget. But how am I supposed to afford tefal pan, Nesting Utensils and bowls which cost EACH about 50 EURO. In one of your previous video you showed a multifunctional sofa which cost 579 EURO. Many of the minimalist videos on youtube show us costly products which are of no use for general public.

  29. Adams Jane on May 10, 2021 at 6:37 am

The keen smell feraly hate because stitch yearly name within a parsimonious bangladesh. instinctive, wiry caravan

  30. Mel on May 10, 2021 at 6:39 am

I disagree on the blender, not on the fact that you have it, but that the type you have you can’t remove the blade… after the first year you quickly find it becomes useless for anything besides soft cooked veggies.
Most blenders are over $100 regardless of brand so you want to be able to use it a long time.
Choose a blender with removeable blades.
The blades can be sharpened in a tabletop knife sharpener.

  31. Anni IntheWoods on May 10, 2021 at 6:39 am

Oh, wasn’t tevlon poisonous? I got 2 stainless steel pots and a cast-iron frying pan. Was a bit unsure at first but the pan works really fantastic =)

  32. Daily Kitchen Supply on May 10, 2021 at 6:39 am

    great ideas

  33. Richy love healthy on May 10, 2021 at 6:40 am

Wow where can i buy such a pan

  34. Charles Lowe on May 10, 2021 at 6:40 am

Carving meat with a serrated knife. Where di you grow up.

  35. Yantan Tethera on May 10, 2021 at 6:40 am

Oooh, I better throw all my stuff and go buy this better minimalist stuff!

  36. Mamta Thakur on May 10, 2021 at 6:41 am

    Loved it

  37. Race Kids on May 10, 2021 at 6:45 am

the only other one i would say is a small serrated knife for meaty fruits like tomatoes that have delicate skin and soft meat

  38. D Chry on May 10, 2021 at 6:47 am

    Love those pots …

  39. Jesper Andersen on May 10, 2021 at 6:48 am

omg 1:20 as wobbly as they are, shows they are shite quality… the bottom is not even anymore after use = doesn’t heat evenly
6:34 sticky egg because pans and soap = no go and the non-flat bottoms = egg sitting pushed out on the edge of the pan
otherwise good video and if ya eat a lot of veggies please get a real veggie knife instead of a chefs meat knife

  40. Jose Benitez on May 10, 2021 at 6:48 am

man this guy always save me with some kind of storage idea to make everything more organize. Thanks

  41. missleading 360 on May 10, 2021 at 6:48 am

I think this video gives good ideas but some of the items are not that great for everyone like the pots and pans are great but best if they are stainless steel, the ikea glass plate actually breaks very easy, plastic spatula can melt on high heat, ect…

  42. Julie Durbin on May 10, 2021 at 6:53 am

what kind of stove/oven do u use

  43. Benta Em on May 10, 2021 at 6:53 am

Minimalist having all utensils I need. Loving the lifestyle

  44. Samantha Hogg on May 10, 2021 at 6:54 am

You shouldn’t use vegetable oils on wooden chopping boards… Vegetable oils eventually go rancid and spoil the board and the flavour of ingredients you chop on it. Its much better to use a food safe board oil to prolong the life of your board.

  45. erica on May 10, 2021 at 6:54 am

dude i hope you bought a rice cooker by now xD

  46. hulqen on May 10, 2021 at 6:55 am

Sorry, but this was all too basic and uninspiring to me. If you only own a few things, why not get items with higher quality, more inspiring, artisanal, and/or nicer to look at? Also, so much plastic and teflon! Buy things that last instead! Better for you and the environment!

  47. Memi Calí on May 10, 2021 at 6:57 am

Damn that’s a tiny kitchen?? In my country a small kitchen has only enough counter space to place the big cutting board and maybe a couple small things lmao

  48. Simon Wang on May 10, 2021 at 6:59 am

The receptive police daily laugh because pot logistically store over a wasteful fat. scarce, scandalous cherry

  49. Happy Home Work on May 10, 2021 at 7:00 am

Sorry to say but I prefer stainless steel and iron cookware.
These coated pots and pans, plastic spatulas are not my cup of tea. Also entire video feels like for promotion of some brands.

  50. Marron Price on May 10, 2021 at 7:03 am

Did he just wash his cast iron??!
