65 inch for these tvs are both over 1300 dollars total a piece now. These are supposed to be budget tvs

Can you let me know the difference between Hisense 55h9g vs 55u6g? to me, when I did the comparison. the only difference i found was the 120 rate for 9g vs 60 rate for 6g.

    Great review!

  5. CYCO274 on October 10, 2021 at 9:17 am

I have the tcl 6 series its excellent for the price I have not noticed any issues with it, and the viewing angles are not bad at all unless you like sitting at the side of your tv. I say get one while you can.

    Love my TCL QLED

  7. Som Dood on October 10, 2021 at 9:19 am

Just got the TCL 55r635, i seen this channels original review where he setup the panel, and after my experimentation i found this thing works best in a dark room on warm like he said but i ended up dropping my contrast to 50 but turned off local and dynamic contrast, turned off motion clarity and action smoothing etc., back light and brightness to 50, sharpness to 10 and pumped the color up to 75 in darker mode and dark picture mode otherwise it was so bright it would instantly dry my contact lenses out trying to view bright scenes. After setting it up Color accuracy looks great every once in a while a youtube icon will look washed out slightly or maybee not as rich as id like but mostly everything looks perfectly saturated otherwise. Different blacks are discernable and the darkest blacks are deep but viewing angle is mediocre as its a VA panel which gives it a weird color uniformity issue when up close where a solid color will be slightly not the same color across the board. and honestly at my settings even soap opera effect is pretty much nonexistant with older netflix videos or at least toned down so much that it doesnt make me feel motion sick and now it looks normal to me. no halos, no color banding, no light bleeding no dead pixels. Gaming is great from my pc at 1440p 120hz. and 4k videos from the tvs netflix(not my pc) look jaw droppingly beautiful. i have zero complaints other then i hate the stand it makes the tv sit 5 inches off the wall which takes up too much desk space and im waiting for a wall mount to get here. 5 stars from me. and my kid said it looks just as good as his $1300 65 inch Samsung on the costa rica 4k youtube video but thats all he stayed to check out

Tcl 6 series or oled Cox?

  9. Ball Is Life on October 10, 2021 at 9:21 am

A guy a Best Buy told me hisense was not a good brand. Tv on display kept going out. Don’t trust these influencers. They are paid to promote these TVs. Sony is the best for movies and Lg is the best for games this year. FYI

  10. Nicholas Travaglini on October 10, 2021 at 9:23 am

How do you rate the TCL 75R635 vs Sony x90j being the Sony is on sale for the same price as the TCL.

  11. Sharan Dsouza on October 10, 2021 at 9:24 am

    No Chinese crap.

  12. Steve Wander on October 10, 2021 at 9:25 am

At this time the TCL 65R635, 2021 Model is going for 1,299.99 on Amazon. Still not a bad price at all for the quality, but not at under 1000 as it once was as mentioned in this video. Seems unusual that it would go up when, as also mentioned, historically the price usually goes down. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas?

  13. Lead Foot on October 10, 2021 at 9:28 am

For me there’s no such thing as too bright as long as contrast remains good. If the content asks for 10,000 nits then I want 10,000 nits. Mad Max Fury Road hits 10,000 at some points and I’m still waiting for a consumer TV that can do that.

  14. Mark C on October 10, 2021 at 9:28 am

    made in china

  15. Edwin C on October 10, 2021 at 9:30 am

  16. Daniel Parrish on October 10, 2021 at 9:32 am

since so many of us are using an antenna for viewing local channels I wish you would do testing on which tv has the best receiver for OTA viewing

  17. John Morgan on October 10, 2021 at 9:33 am

My TCL died after 3 years

  18. Brandon gardner on October 10, 2021 at 9:36 am

Hey brother, i always watch your tv comparison but what do u think of the HiSense u7g

  19. jazzy jaris on October 10, 2021 at 9:37 am

Just to clear confusions after watching this video… Go for hisense if you have brighter room/ hall . If u have dark room go with TCL

  20. Ball Is Life on October 10, 2021 at 9:42 am

OLED is the best for picture quality. Has more Color. Thousands vs millions. These guys talk a lot oh gibberish. Learned more at Best Buy in 5 mins than all this talk these influencers do.

  21. Mike Cohen on October 10, 2021 at 9:42 am

Just looking at the screens over your shoulder I was liking the TCL pic

  22. VancouverCanucksRock on October 10, 2021 at 9:43 am

Your Thumbnail says "QLED VS QLED"…..

  23. London Water on October 10, 2021 at 9:43 am

I know no one agrees with me, but decent frame interpolation is the bane of my existence. I can’t wait to see if tv’s can produce a decent 60 or 120 without artifacts, maybe 10 years from now? Idk if it’s because I game so much, or if my wires are just crossed? 😂 But, 24fps literally makes me feel nauseous… Actually now that I’m thinking about it, when I was like 11 or 12, I smoked that green stuff, and I was getting about 10-15 FPS, and I had to walk by a cop at a local fair. It freaked me out big time. Maybe that’s why I love a buttery smooth FPS?😂👍❤️

  24. joe smith on October 10, 2021 at 9:43 am

Tcl on the right? Its killing hisence!

  25. Armando C on October 10, 2021 at 9:45 am

Gaming is the most important to me so TCL it is

  26. Ellie Kim on October 10, 2021 at 9:47 am

I am not an expert of color accuracy or sensitive but the TCL looks better I noticed the difference 🤷‍♀️

  27. Yuumain on October 10, 2021 at 9:48 am

Roku does support HBO Max now

  28. skelly on October 10, 2021 at 9:48 am

Digital trends informing us on what really makes a tv great… Not about the numbers but the cohesiveness and quality. Much appreciated!

  29. Al A on October 10, 2021 at 9:49 am

I have a TCL and my HBO MAX works just fine sir.

  30. Mike Cohen on October 10, 2021 at 9:50 am

    I like the Bowtie stand

  31. Harry Louise on October 10, 2021 at 9:51 am

Can i game 1440p 120fps with hdr on tcl 55r635??

  32. themessiah809 on October 10, 2021 at 9:54 am

Disagree, the Hisense won it for me at best buy, hisense just pops! TCL didn’t do it for me. My ps5 looks incredible on it. This guy is too biased with TCL everything is impressive to him.

  33. double T on October 10, 2021 at 9:54 am

If only TCL had android/Google TV. Then it would be a complete slam dunk.

  34. arfansheikh on October 10, 2021 at 9:54 am

    Nice review

  35. Jon P on October 10, 2021 at 9:55 am

Was thinking between the two, got the tcl. But man, my TCL 6 series remote is garbage, otherwise great tv.

  36. Joeykitty on October 10, 2021 at 9:55 am

The TCL has much better color than the Hisense IMO. Too bad it doesn’t support HBO Max..

  37. Nick Smith on October 10, 2021 at 9:56 am

Hi what model is this tcl please

  38. Simon K on October 10, 2021 at 9:56 am

So for the same price Samsung or LG I would be getting old LED technology (not QLED)?

  39. Morgan Scott on October 10, 2021 at 9:59 am

sucks these tcl tvs are almost 1000$ now

  40. Alan E on October 10, 2021 at 9:59 am

I have the U8G and its awesome on all fronts, no complaints from me.

  41. Ola올루와 on October 10, 2021 at 10:00 am

  42. kThibs on October 10, 2021 at 10:01 am

  43. Julio Cespedes Vega on October 10, 2021 at 10:01 am

    No existe made in usa

  44. Mike Cohen on October 10, 2021 at 10:02 am

I’m using your opinion to buy so I’m hoping your review is on the money

  45. Mech Tech 15 B on October 10, 2021 at 10:03 am

I personally would never support Hisense. Their customer service is horrible. I purchased a 55U78G. Got it home and the screen was cracked. Hisense would not do anything to help me out and they do not sell replacement screens so I could have it repaired.

  46. Anthony Gemma on October 10, 2021 at 10:03 am

I just want a tv that will power on seamlessly to the right input when using a streaming box. Anyone have recommendations?

  47. hammertlme on October 10, 2021 at 10:04 am

With the 65 and 75 inch TCL, the stand is adjustable for a smaller area, you should have noted that. But yeah the Hisense one looks better

  48. Jay Dee on October 10, 2021 at 10:04 am

What if one was to calibrate the Hisense? How would the picture fair?

  49. D Gillies on October 10, 2021 at 10:06 am

HBO Max supported on Roku now. TCL images appear washed out.

  50. hammertlme on October 10, 2021 at 10:08 am

So with the 65 inch TCL, putting it in movie mode and putting the back light to 100 is all that is needed to get the best possible picture without having calibration done? What about the motion smoothing and clarity stuff?
