People say that iPad Pro is better but it is terrible in multitasking. Ipad OS kills third party apps in background. It will close ssh session as soon as you leave the app. Ipads are great but if you don’t need some PRO apps Tab S7 can be better. Ipad OS still has many limitations. Android on tablets isn’t great because of poor apps but basic apps exist and for many issues you can find some workarounds. With Apple it’s not the case. It’s too restricted (at least without jailbreak).
I would go for ipad for this price

Can this replace my laptop? MS office is the only application holding me to switch. If it works (with full functionality) on Android with Samsung DEX, that pretty much ends the Windows laptop era. 👍

If you know how to use Android, this is a much better tablet than iPad Pro. All the major Android apps are optimised for tablets, unlike what Apple fans think.
IPad OS/ iOS is too restricted for productivity. The open nature of Android OS makes it more suitable to get work done.
Sadly, we have users who get carried away by marketing talk to not realise the potential of Android tablets.

Ive tested the ipad pro 11/12 and the tab s7+. The tab 7s+ better for taking notes. For drawing ipad. ipad has also better sound, specially the 12 inch version. Also for drawing and taking notes outside the i better is the better choice cause of the 600nits vs 500 of the s7+
