   You can add aur, snap, and flatpak manually from Pamac right? This is ALMOST perfect, there is only ONE single thing that keeps me from using this, and unless you can show me how to get the window min/max/close button on the left side of the window bar and in the red green and yellow colors, I will not use it, so is there a way to do that?

    I like the idea of Cutefish, being a sleek and simple Mac-ish desktop environment. Personally I feel that Elementary OS’s Pantheon desktop environment is much more complete and mature, something I would actually use and recommend. Cutefish needs more work to get to that point, but it is pretty and easy to use. I kinda wonder who Cutefish is for. If you are living in your web browser, you’ll quickly forget about the style of your DE. But if you’re using a lot of desktop apps, you probably want something with better window management and a more subdued look like KDE or Cinnamon. Maybe it would be fun to have Cutefish on a shared family desktop, like a DIY iMac.

    Projects like these give me mixed feelings. I like that they accept that people want things to look nice and function unsurprisingly, but they also aren’t willing to including linux specific innovations and thinking outside the box, like using intellihide on the dock, or using a faster single entry workflow like gnome where instead of memorizing a bunch of shortcuts, you slam super key and you can do anythign between tasks (switch windows,desktops,applications, look at the panel if fullscreened etc.) Simple fast workflow that sadly we’re stuck with the stubborn gnome team that won’t even implement a configurable dark mode or highlight color, and on top of that GNOME 40 damaged the single-entry workflow by making workspace harder to use. Anyways I wish that projects like these would be more like "Let’s take design and simplicity inspiration from MacOS but let’s also push the boundaries as far as new age features and workflows"
