You weren’t kidding when you said this kitchen was expensive. 💲💲 I love it though.

  2. Ostap Kohlstein on May 3, 2021 at 4:15 am

    What is cdn

  3. Massimo on May 3, 2021 at 4:16 am

It’s nice, but honestly that does not look like a $100k+ kitchen.

  4. Meia Amor on May 3, 2021 at 4:17 am

    Demoed my kitchen for $0.00

  5. Pouestah on May 3, 2021 at 4:18 am

thank you immensely for sharing that information. Would never have thought it was that much quite eye opening.

ON A BUDGET!!!!!!! WHAT IN THE HELL

  7. seriously? really? on May 3, 2021 at 4:21 am

You didn’t include the $44,000 for the appliances. If they are built into the kitchen and cannot be unplugged and rolled away then it is permanent part of the building and therefore part of the actual cost of the remodel and not an accessory.

  8. zoeclearwater on May 3, 2021 at 4:23 am

Wait I forgot to say even more crazy spending 6,000 to remove old kitchen !

  9. Titoley Tako on May 3, 2021 at 4:27 am

My God…with the total budget, you can actually buy a brand new home.

  10. Chels Martin on May 3, 2021 at 4:27 am

I contracted my own home and I didn’t spend that much on it like that!!! I think when you don’t know how to renovate or not willing to the interior designers go to snobby high end high priced kitchen showrooms!!! I put high end appliances and real wood floors and dove tail drawers !!!

  11. Phyllis Bennett on May 3, 2021 at 4:27 am

Loved the kitchen! Please, more of these videos that include budgets.

So nice to see an actual monetary breakdown, so many times you see these renos, and it looks nice but cost is never discussed. 👍🏾

  15. Butch Lane on May 3, 2021 at 4:30 am

The industry suggests a kitchen reno to be approx.10% to 15% of the home’s value.
If the home is worth $500,000 spending $50,000 to $75,000 as a guideline is
    reasonable.
The home in the video is located in Toronto and appears to be a larger home,
there’s a pool so it’s likely worth several million. Having spent $116,000.00 is
easily within the suggested industry standards.

  16. UnseenSpirit on May 3, 2021 at 4:30 am

Might be expensive but I’m sure the materials in it are the best of the best.
    The extension was the biggy.

  17. zoeclearwater on May 3, 2021 at 4:31 am

How was 1200 spent on undercabinet light? ,! 1500 for knobs and 2400 for 2 pendent light is excessive but 1200 for undercabinet!🙃

  18. Frances Lovato on May 3, 2021 at 4:35 am

That kitchen project cost more than my home. 😱

  19. Chris S on May 3, 2021 at 4:40 am

    Massively overspent on cabinets

  20. Schraubtischtäter on May 3, 2021 at 4:40 am

Those knobs cost more than my entire new kitchen… 😏

  21. Yusra on May 3, 2021 at 4:41 am

    These prices are insane…

  22. Kokila Patel on May 3, 2021 at 4:41 am

Does mill work include the cabinetry?

  23. MikeInHD on May 3, 2021 at 4:42 am

"working on finance had helped me with my job". Yeah to count all the cash being spent. Wow

  24. Flavia Dalyla Carvalho on May 3, 2021 at 4:42 am

    Amei.

  25. Shanyn Chan on May 3, 2021 at 4:42 am

u paid way too much lol

  26. Eggie Feng on May 3, 2021 at 4:43 am

I just checked the real estate price in this area, houses with similar kitchen( not as nice) are well over 3 million.

  27. Jennie Smythe on May 3, 2021 at 4:45 am

She nade a lot of money off tgis client. The kitchen alone cost more then most people’s first homes. Honestly its not that nice for the cost. It looks slmost ikea cabinetish. Maybe the color or the knobs. Idk but.

  28. Wolf H. on May 3, 2021 at 4:45 am

Thank you! So many people have HGTV reno envy but have no idea what it costs. Great breakdown of the costs in a manner that also shows off design possibilities.

  29. Michael Feeney on May 3, 2021 at 4:46 am

50k for mill work lmao trust me you can have this same kitchen for half the price if they dont hire one of these snakes to do it for you

  30. Paul Schneider on May 3, 2021 at 4:47 am

Beautiful execution, and a very professional presentation

  31. zoeclearwater on May 3, 2021 at 4:47 am

1200 for under cabinet lights and 2,400 for pendants – that is not smart shopping. I spent hours looking for my own kitchen lights and even on the high end that is crazy. 🙄

  32. kelsey joseph on May 3, 2021 at 4:48 am

How the hell are appliances $44,000. Is it going to prepare cook and serve the food for me?

  33. dannyzii on May 3, 2021 at 4:48 am

    1500 dollars for cabinet knobs??

  34. Lana Beaudoin on May 3, 2021 at 4:49 am

In the cost breakdown, the $44,000 appliances weren’t accounted for … so over $150,000!! I can’t help but wonder who has this kind of budget for a kitchen?! The average Canadian doesn’t make that kind of money. Does anyone else find it annoying how they talk as if this is normal?

  35. Lee Francis on May 3, 2021 at 4:52 am

Shes got amazing skin. Very glowy

  36. Francis Yawson on May 3, 2021 at 4:52 am

I came straight to the comments section. I think it might be a wise idea to either disable the comments section or not add the cost in subsequent videos for poor people to be trolling you.

  37. Ostap Kohlstein on May 3, 2021 at 4:53 am

    Thank you!

  38. Romano Gitano on May 3, 2021 at 4:54 am

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Needless to say, splendid design without lacking function nor comfort in a magnificent style…..Bravo.

  39. NicholsKT on May 3, 2021 at 4:56 am

$100,000 plus, and that’s just to reno the kitchen? $1,000 plus is more my ballpark, if I can one day have a kitchen. It looks nice, but not nice enough.

  40. DeShawn Hatcher on May 3, 2021 at 4:57 am

PLEASE DO MORE OF THESE WITH THE PRICES it gives such a clear perspective on what things cost. I don’t care if I can actually afford it or would pay whatever the amount is for knobs. I just want a better understanding of cost and you did a great job. MORE PLEASE

  41. Jermaine C on May 3, 2021 at 5:00 am

    I luv it😍 … Rich bastards 🤬😂😂

"in 2019, this list helped me decide for the best range hood *scafe.shop/tbrh2019?mV* hope it helps you out too!"

  43. Jen TheReader on May 3, 2021 at 5:01 am

This designer caught my attention from the first 30 seconds because of her unique background: formal finance experience. She clearly understands the practical side of designing a house: satisfying the client and delivering the project on time and budget!

  44. NicholsKT on May 3, 2021 at 5:02 am

I don’t really understand how spending so much money on kitchen and bathroom renos can pay off (probably the reason I’m poor, LOL), but it just seems to me that once people reach a financial bracket where they can buy a house for half a mil or more, wouldn’t they want to have the space be customized? I mean, if this owner wanted $1,500 knobs, who’s to say a potential buyer will like them? Maybe they’ll want totally different finishes and appliances, so why should they pay a higher asking price for the seller’s preferences? I love design, so it’s always been difficult for me to imagine that there are people who kind of don’t care about it. I guess, if this homeowner ever wanted to sell, she’d just have to find some person or couple who loves almost all of her design choices and want a move-in-ready space.

  45. kelsey joseph on May 3, 2021 at 5:03 am

I would like to see reasonable priced kitchen meaning everyday People price.

  46. Mat Black on May 3, 2021 at 5:04 am

That’s cool! Doesn’t work for my taste, which is 70s contemporary, but nice. I could do it for $5000!

  47. Nathan Pham on May 3, 2021 at 5:09 am

That does not look like a 6 figure kitchen… the counter and appliances are very nice but the rest of the kitchen looks cheap imo. It’s still a functional and beautiful kitchen regardless!

  48. Lillian Crane on May 3, 2021 at 5:10 am

Thanks just finished my kitchen remodeling. Your ideas were great.

  49. Silvia on May 3, 2021 at 5:11 am

    Holly Molly!!! That is expensive.

  50. P Dushy on May 3, 2021 at 5:11 am

Um sorry but this is not a practical use of money, "coming from a financial and business background" you should know exactly how to use money to get the most utility out of it. You literally could have competed a whole house renovation for that! Spending that much on a kitchen and only achieving what you did is a bit of a let down. I have seen kitchens that look much more upper-market to this costing only a fraction of the cost. Sorry but bit of a let down for what the client paid :/
